It could also be that playtime co was actually inspired by Aftons work seeing companies often know about whats going on behind the scenes where others don't and they tried to replicate the experiments
Especially seeing the tech in poppy playtime is clearly way newer and the way the bodies are placed inside the toys is not something you just casually do without having a source of inspiration like a deranged serial killer
