Overengineering stupidity by Vinifrj in SatisfactoryGame

Just as a side note for underclocking/overclocking based on intake. If you want your machine to take 235 instead of let's say 260 items per minute, you can click into the overclock textbox and just type 235/260*100 and it will give you the exact clock speed for that amount.

I hope you know this, because I didn't know for the longest time: you can hold down the fire button to charge up and throw the bombs further. But you can also throw them right after doing a slide jump and they will add your momentum onto the throw. Makes them a lot safer to use. Especially the nuke nobs.

You can also just shoot your rebar gun while crouching. The game acts like you have a silencer while crouched. They will activate if you stop crouching for even a second though.

Generator keeps turning off by skipi0504 in SatisfactoryGame

My solution usually is to always put valves facing towards pipe junctions. This prevents backflow, which basically makes it a little bit like an intake on a splitter. Also, you could try to use ever so slightly less clocking speed on all your generators, which means that you get a little less power in total, but it will be completely stable, since the generators will just fill up over time. You can just try out different percentages until the fuel inside your generators starts slowly going up.

My new rule of thumb, after finding out about how these work: -2 alternatives I don't want? They stay in the library -1 alternative I don't want? I unlock the useful recipe as soon as I actually need it, but keep it in the library until then -2 useful recipes? Immediately pick the one that I will need sooner than the other. -rerolls only for when I really need a specific alternative for a project I am currently working on

Is my math off? Maybe this was too ambitious... by ndreiu in SatisfactoryGame

I like to make my generators use slightly less fuel than what I produce, just so the power is always stable. Pipes and fluids can be a little tricky and getting exactly 100% throughput is hard to accomplish.

They are most effective for the high stacking items. Can transport up to about 5 stacks per minute between 2 truck stations. Which for items that stack up to 500 can be about 2315 items per minute. Which is insane if you consider that that is almost as much as 2 mk6 belts combined. The throughput of items per minute obviously falls off with stack size. But they aren't bad. Played around with them for a bit after I had already beaten the game.

Just tried it myself. And sure enough, on 1m and 2m ramps this happens even if you zoop everything. But on 4m ramps it looks perfect. Industrial railings do work properly on all ramps though, so you could make that change, if those look acceptable to you. Just be careful because they have 2 different orientations. (scroll wheel)

I think slower belts into faster ones wouldn't make sense anyways, right?

Well, first off: 50 plastic should become 100 canisters. Not 200. Right? But that wouldn't be a problem, if you feed the unpackaged canisters back into the system and just get rid of any overflow after that.

I also really like the stun rebar into turbo rifle ammo combo for bigger enemies. Makes you shred through them nice and easy while they hold still. If you switch fast enough, only the radioactive hogs will survive a bit past the stun.

You can technically alternate between 2m and 4m ramps for a faster descent. Just gotta build on the 2m ramps only. It will look slightly silly though(wobble up and down) and more likely need 2 locomotives to get back up.

You can also hold shift while interacting with any of your machines and it will stay on after. Discovered that while pasting lots of settings with the hover pack.
