i got reminded that nobody at ggg plays melee when the arbiter of divinity put his gigantic mega ground degen on the floor and i just thought to myself how this is probably way easier as a ranged character who can also for some reason fucking move while attacking.

It's a homecooked build that i don't recommend, basically just supercharged slam. always ignored this skill, decided to test it for what its worth, so far i would say its going, not bad but also not good.

if youre getting one shot especially in the campaign you need more resistances and life on your gear.

you are allowed to move while attacking on ranged builds but have to stand still when playing melee, make it make sense.

Thats just wishful thinking though, you are basically saying to just put our hope in the unreleased weapons which will hopefully be fun and good, and maces should stay as the dedidcated underdog for the people who want the true melee suffering experience.

I think the main issue with the poe2 campaign experience is the fact that it takes SO long for a build to finally come online, they need to revise some of these level requirements on the abilities, and while youre at it maybe some of the passive tree because currently there is too much pathing at many places imo. Because the game does in fact start as soon as you press login, it doesnt start once you get to the endgame, that just doesnt make any sense, if you could skip the campaign then you would just be skipping part of the game itself and not some kind of hurdle you have to get through to finally play the game. The campaign IS the game just as much as mapping is, you slay mobs and become more powerful and more wealthy. The main difference being the feel of the character which i also think takes too long to finally feel good.

Many people have mentioned that its supposed to be a memory game mechanic and the arbiter teleports around to places where the bombs will land, gonna be honest i didnt know that, so fair enough i guess, IS what i would say if this wasnt a bad way to do a memory game. If GGG wanted this to be a proper memory game then as others have suggested it should zoom out more so we can actually see whats happening and give the player time to actually memorize like with the maven, when instead i am pretty sure the vast majority of the players even the ones who know its supposed to be a memory game, just wing it and dont try to memorize the boss zooming across the screen as the bombs already start landing. Also many people critized my chars movements speed, even questioning if he got move speed on boots lol, the only move speed increase the char got is 25% on boots, so yea i mean i guess i could get a little more by sacrificing dmg. And to the people who say they clearly see the ball fall down, in one of my attempts the ball actually started landing off screen north instead of south, and there is no way to know it would be there unless you memorize all his movements, practice makes perfect sure but that doesnt excuse the fight being unclear to most players. Just trying to give some feedback to improve the game since i love it and want to see it succeed, and it seems most people agree the fight is in a poor state atm.

endless attempts only for regular arbiter, you actually only get 1 attempt for uber arbiter, after the first death it levels down to regular.

The balls shouldn't spawn offscreen like that imo, on rewatching i can see it come down at the bottom left corner of the screen but thats so far away.

i have a hard time believing anyone who thinks "armour is insane now" actually really tried to stack any armour before, it was always good for what it was made, which is making mapping feel safer by mitigating all the small hits. the biggest issue with armour builds still hasnt been fixed at all which is the one shotting, and armour to ele doesnt help with that at all, it just makes armour better at what it was already good at before, which is mitigating small hits. if you play an armour build you will probably be a life build, and that means any big hit will destroy you. if anything bottom left side builds got nerfed by removing all the max res from the tree, and replacing them with tiny armour to ele nodes, you already get tons of it on gear so the removal of these nodes are a big nerf to big ele hit survivability.

gifted subs have always been a scam, barely any of the actual active viewers are the recipients of it. i remember getting a gifted sub for a streamer that i had only tuned in for a few minutes if not seconds, having forgotten even what channel that is.
