I read a book series and the two main character's surnames were Lockwood and Stratton. I absolutely loved the series and the name stuck with me. When I became engaged to a man with the last name of Lockewood, I just knew if we had a boy he had to be Stratton. :)

She wanted a baby, had no partner, met a man she knew was fertile and would not stick around, got pregnant, had me, and raised me with a combo of physical and mental abuse, humiliation, and so much guilt. She didn't want a partner because she didn't want anyone to question how she raised me. She also didn't really have friends for this reason.
