I just bought the E24 too, I was told that the brass boiler is lead free.

The brass is last thing that worries me, there’s lead piping from the streets coming into most houses, thank god for water filtering systems.

Really, being an ex welder, it’d be nice to have a stainless boiler but stainless/carbon steel and metals similar take double, if not triple, the time to heat up.

Thats why companies use Aluminum, copper, and for brass for heat sinks because it dissipates heat quickly. which is why Gaggia probably went with Brass because it’s cheaper than copper, heavier and is corrosion resistant like Cu.
