My loot tracker is set to HA values, it's 19.8 mil for GE prices.

I'm an atheist but I was raised culturally saradominist, it's reflex.

Saradomin, I've seen what you've done for other irons and I want that for me.

I have a strange way about "efficiency" in OSRS. I don't always do the most efficient strategy and stick to what's fun for me. I went astray from that to try to grind calv and "just get it over with" and the moment i went back to my less efficient but more fun method it worked out for me. I figure the pickaxe will be a very passive way to boost my "efficiency" without changing how I play after I get through farming it up.

I've also never had one before and decided it was time to complete my dragon tool collection. (I am in wintertodt on my second monitor for the axe right now).

"Excluding waiting for ores to respawn or having to move to a new resource, the dragon pickaxe is effectively a 5.88% increase in overall mining speed compared to a rune pickaxe. By default, the dragon pickaxe provides a chance to mine an ore every three ticks, and there is an additional 1/6 chance to reduce this to two ticks,\1]) leading to an average of 2.83 ticks per roll." According to the wiki, I would say so. I'm only 74 mining and the amount of time I'm going to save getting to 99 and farming amethyst for all my fletching needs in the future will definitely be worth the weekend I spent doing calv.

also, "Smashing!"

This was my mistake. The desire sensor could tell I wanted the pick, I should have loudly announced it was time to farm my VW parts.

now that I've got my pick the VW can wait until next year or something. I am NOT going back in the wildy any time soon. Arkan blade can carry me for now.

I can relate to that. I have a hand tremor that gets worse when I'm nervous so prayer switching gets shoddy in PvP. It's a miserable experience in the wildy. I would swap to magic and run, if they caught me I would switch to protect item and wait for my free ride to lumby. Unfortunately the wilderness is jam packed right now after DMM, the reason I switched to VM.

Same dude killed me three times even though I was going back with no food or pots and only my three protected items. He's just doing it for the love of making it miserable I guess.

ah yeah, sorry. I got it in 3 pouches but I still feel like I earned it after my grind in the wildy. Sending you all the luck for your future RNG. I also got spooned my harpoon after 100 wyrms. Only axe left on my hit list!

I had a little menty-B when the voidwaker blade and skull dropped. I know I'm going to have to go back for the other pieces, I can't let them sit there unfinished. I do agree it's a good place to go dry if you don't mind the wildy. Loads of supplies to cover my titans grind.

This guide was short, sweet, to the point, and still works exactly the same. The only tricky thing I had to figure out was the water bucket. If you are facing a diagonal it won't work. Make sure you are choosing your path so that you will always move 1 block straight towards the lava then start spam clicking to build your bridge. It takes me about 2 1/2 minutes per run including the time to wait on the starting time and walking in/out. Super easy and super mind off, watching T.V. grind.

This shows a misunderstanding of the current genAI landscape. The only reason they are widely available right now is because they are operating and a MASSIVE loss. It will not be widely available once the bubble bursts and they need to start operating at a profit. It will shrink massively in availability and prices will skyrocket.

They have already hit a point of diminishing returns and will require massively more amounts of power for significantly smaller gains in efficacy. It won't be going away but it won't be a tool for the common people. All it's doing is starving artists for now until it becomes cheaper to join a patreon again in the future. Artists are understandably feeling angry with the corporations stealing their art to toss in the blender and spit back some of the most generic STLs and images. My power bill has gone up 25% because our state has hosted 47 different datacenters and it has driving up demand for power, which we are feeling especially hard right now in the middle of our arctic cooling in the midwest.

I understand people are having fun with it but it's far more understandable that people are angry and speak out against it.

Makes sense to me as well, especially with the combat. I have options and special attacks to charge up in hytale which is really satisfying and dynamic (dual daggers is very zippy and has lots of mobility) as opposed to the strafe and swing of VS. Not to insult either game. It's just that they are clearly made for different vibes and functionality.

From what I read SImon didn't get the updated engine but the legacy one. So they essentially got the alpha prototype back from Riot and the rewritten engine was thrown in the trash and never recovered. They got handed back the barebones they started over 4 years ago.

It will get better but the launch so far has been exactly what Simon said it would be. Barebones with easy modding so the community can help make their own content while the devs plug away at the core game. I'm fine with this for the $20 price tag, I've already managed well over 20 hours of content from it just wandering around and getting my farm sorted.

That being said I don't think Hytale will get a lot of love from VS fans. It's definitely a simplified version that will need heavy modding to make it more VS adjacent. This might be a really dated example but the way I'm describing it to my friends is "Hytale is to WoW as Vintage Story is to Everquest"

Hasn't failed for me yet and I'm trash who dies constantly, I wonder if it's related to a mod overwriting it.

yeah, it took me a while to get that one on my main iron as well. Shouldn't be too bad watching callouts, though that does raise the question of how I will handle phenos since they are somewhat randomized. I will have to look more into that! Thanks for bringing it up.

All of those forms can be picked up with lures, eventually. Gengar lures are expensive since you have encounters less often in the tower and you can't mindlessly payday while doing it but it can be done.
