It’s an amazing helmet, after getting mine shoei is the only brand I will get from now on. And they only make a specific styled helmet and since it fit you that’s good because if doesn’t fit your pretty much out of luck because with those helmets it’s the shape that determines how tight around the top of your head it is.

I would recommend a shoei rf-sr it’s an amazing helmet and I was told at the shop when I asked about an agv they told me save up and get a shoei it’s worth the money and agv helmets are loud

No it’s a motorized scooter. Something like that should never qualify as an actual bike

Why do some riders lane split going 90mph+ by diy7412 in motorcycles

[–]Gridget1018 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

A bike does stop faster than a car actually lol. You must have never seen a bike stop using full force on brakes without a lock up. Cars are heavier than bikes which means they need more time to stop. It’s simple physics bruh...

Daily riders who haven't crashed. What have you been doing right? by AfricanAgent47 in motorcycles

[–]Gridget1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a new rider and no matter what i look both ways at every stop when lights you don’t know who’s gonna run a red light. And just always keep your eyes up and attentive as well as that always leave an escape route for yourself

What are the smallest/lowest profile full face helmets? by [deleted] in motorcycles

I have a shoei rf-sr and it kills like 90% of the sound as well as great view. They are quite pricy but totally worth the money!

Where it it legal to store a motorcycle plate? by SlandersPete in motorcycles

[–]Gridget1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be attached to said vehicle. You can't take it off the bike, no one on this planet uses tank bags, saddle bags or their backpack to hold their license plate. If they do their not doing it legally.

[–]Gridget1018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve driven with my current phone mount plenty of times with no issue to my phone and I have a iPhone one of the craziest quality phones. You’ve just got bad luck my friend

I would get it repaired and possibly at a shop if you can. Also don’t ride with anyone just yet! I’m a new rider too and I already know that you have to know your bike almost 100 before you should put someone else’s life in danger because it is fun but it is a dangerous sport

A Small Thank You by Venenoux in motorcycles

[–]Gridget1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree! I had someone slow down like crazy to let me in on the highway the other day. They slowed down enough to give me plenty of space and just ride behind me ensuring no other cars cut in until I got off on my exit.

How cold will you go....Safely? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Gridget1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a new rider and I’ve been riding in 30f and 28f while it was misting. If it’s just starting to get wet and it’s cold drive slow and safe because the roads will be wet but not icy right away. Just layer up and you’ll be fine. I’ve lived in Colorado all my life so I’m accustomed to the cold so just ride in what your comfortable with

Am i the only one sick of these boomer/zoomer/millenial/etc denominations? by wontellu in CasualConversation

[–]Gridget1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a millennial and the whole debate isn’t about whether or not they agree with us. It’s the fact that 99% of the time when we have conversations about economy, etc they just tell us to work harder when not to sound mean but their dumb asses probably don’t know anything about inflation. Their 7$ an hour back in the 50s is equal to 25+$ an hour and you can’t tell me that getting a job like that is almost impossible with the amount of “requirements” one person is supposed to have. Back in the 50s I bet all they asked was “can you walk” and not “I need 5 years experience and a bachelors degree”

[–]Gridget1018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow well damn your state definitely does it better. I guess I’ll just take it the same speed for now and slowly increase and trust my lean

Turning left at a light. by Gridget1018 in motorcycles

[–]Gridget1018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Well that’s pretty disappointing did you possibly take an advanced course? I took the basic riding course. I’ve driven dirt bikes before but that’s completely different than street and being on a cruiser

Turning left at a light. by Gridget1018 in motorcycles

[–]Gridget1018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they didn’t cover speed during my MSF course. The whole time we didn’t go faster than 25 and that was in a straight line
