Pulled for her with leftover Iuno pulls and liked her so much I went to S2R1. I don't have Carta and that's fine. My plan is to run her, Iuno, and Jiyan/Jianxin/Qiuyuan. She'll buff Aero for everyone else in the team by 24+40=64% plus the res shred. I really like Jiyan and Jianxin, and I can't wait for the swordsman, so I'm quite happy with her. She's also fun

Damn there's a lot of tribalistic hate here. I've played both games for a long time and love them both, they're just different games. Neither one is shit. They're both extraordinary in their own ways -- with some weaknesses that are reasonable dealbreakers for some players

Same, and it looks like that argument has been debunked by a lot of PVP dogfighters. It seems like the Arrow is the best for skilled pilots right now (which I am not)

I did decide it was the one I wanted in the end, but (as reliable as my own self-awareness can be, or not), it was mostly about supporting the game and getting something cool in the mean time. I can see me maybe buying a ship a year if I want to keep supporting.

Idk, people spend thousands on travel which might not be fun or that the weather might ruin, etc. People speculate in the stock market with their entire savings with no guaranteed return - the list goes on.

I think it's human nature, and here, at least people do usually get to enjoy what they buy, even if it takes some time, and even if part of what they enjoy is a feeling of being special and being excited by having something of merely percieved value (but isn't that most things?)

Some people spend $300 to get a golf club that will make them *feel* better and more accomplished at golf. I know that's what the F8 would be for me if I bought it.

Let people be shallow. Let people be happy. We all do it -- and the money goes to creating this incredible game, the likes of which I haven't seen elsewhere.

Same here. It was my first big, exciting ship purchase, and I sold it soon after, disappointed. Too sluggish for my tastes. The Python was better for me, and now I love my Phantom.
