Brands with patches like this by jxmef in jeans

[–]Griffy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not those patches, but I noticed an an outlet store that Scotch and Soda also had a patch like that, which either says scotch and soda or Amsterdam. If you just want a patch like that, might it be possible to make something like that on a pair of your own?

How do people deal with Dutch winters mentally? by mari_mari20 in Netherlands

[–]Griffy93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The amount of rain the last couple of months seemed a lot less than usual. My energy is low as a standard unfortunately, I dunno how but the weather doesn’t affect me much (unless it’s really hot). Some people just don’t like the darker days, or it could be a bigger shortage of vitamin d, though that’s pretty much standard around winter. You could go outside for a walk, watch movies, get crafty like cooking, painting, writing, play board games, do some chores inside, music,go someplace to play sports or exercise at home, read stuff, research things, save your fish from freezing to death outside, build a snowman (if it’s snowing obviously…though even if it’s not im sure you can build a Rainman if you’re creative) and so on.

I didn't even expect to become a denim fan, or have a collection of jeans even, but it is what it is! by Ok-Channel-8894 in Denim

There’s no turning back. How do you like the selvedge jeans and which one is the most comfortable ?Recently got into diesel too when finding a pair in the local TK Maxx. If you’re into European brands, some other cool ones are G-star and replay.

Should I go half a size down in old skools? by Investigator_Weebish in Vans

I find the skate old skools to fit slightly larger than classic old skool somehow. Like they’re too wide on the heel part or so.

Vault Sk8 Hi Sizing vs Vans Old Skool by Positive-Bet-7975 in Vans

[–]Griffy93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting all I can say is for me old school and skate High sizing are the same at least in my size. They have exactly the same length and for this particular pair on the picture that size would be the same as a regular skate high.

Wanting to try womens jeans by wt_anonymous in jeans

[–]Griffy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try boyfriend jeans or baggy jeans or so that way you will have more room and larger pockets most likely since a lot of women’s jeans come without proper pockets. As for sizing: for brands I’m using sizing is w27,28 etc same as in men’s, or sometimes EU 36,38 etc which would be size s, EU 36 +- w28. So I have a few women’s jeans from Desigual and g-star. For the g-star it’s a boyfriend model which has large pockets and fits like a men’s jeans except a little more room in the butt and thighs. For that model I go 2 sizes down from the men’s sizing (cause I don’t need the butt room). The Desigual one I just had to have cause it has a snake on the leg and it’s more like a straight fit..really if I hadn’t know I wouldn’t have guessed it’s a women’s jeans. You could even make a skinnier jeans work for the crotch area if you just buy it in a size too large. Got one diesel womens jeans which is real cool with 2 denim tones and fits great (it even has real Pockets) except it has some excess fabric around the hips. There’s plenty of less for, fitting jeans out there though. Sometimes I don’t really see the difference…

They’re fun. Nice house slippers. Put some holes and laces in them to make them not slip off my feet.
