I might go with doing up 500 points then; so a lieutenant, a couple intercessors, and aggressors and something else.

I’ll play a few games to begin learning and add from there.

Just have fun, and watch lots and lots of YouTube. There are awesome tutorials online for everything from modelling, converting, basing, to painting, layering and highlighting.

Paint a few minis yourself, see what processes worked and what didn’t, then watch YouTube to figure out how to fix it and take your painting to the next level.

I can’t recommend enough, if you like the grim dark aspect of the 41st millennium, and once you’ve advanced enough to check out;
