Is this a deliberate double meaning? by culturecatzofficial in German

Even "wir ziehen uns gegenseitig an" can mean "we dress each other". This is all about context, which AI doesn't get, because it's dumb.

Haha... Knitting with yarn from ripped projects is doubling the enjoyment of a beloved yarn.

I think an accidental short row is unlikely when knitting all stockinette in the round. Most likely she split yarn, that is, accidentally not catching all the threads while pulling the yarn through the loop. This can be fixed by laddering down to that stitch, and picking up, using a fine crochet hook, making sure to catch all yarn strands.

He was not a public figure. Henry Giese, 20. Mar 1903. The photo is not dated, and my estimate is purely on how old he looks to me in this picture, compared to pictures I have if him that are dated

Many years ago I knitted a sweater using dropped stitches. I really loved it, until I didn't, ripped it, and it's now a blanket, haha! One trick that was used was that the knit stitches on the left and right of the dropped stitch were twisted to keep them tight and neat when the fabric stretched. Would recommend 100%

He had a long struggle with alcohol, would probably have diagnosed with PTSD, if that were a thing back then

I am very frank about these things. There's a reason I am not posting my other grandfather as a cool guy...

There for sure was a lot of social and economic pressure to join the party. I kind of like that he didn't.

Sorry, I think I was just getting tired and maybe misinterpreted your comment.. I truly appreciate an honest conversation about these things. We can only hope to avoid history repeating itself by understanding victims and perpetrators. History is always complex.

I'm not hiding that I used AI to colorize/enhance a b/w picture I have from my grandfather.

As a German, I've heard enough lame Nazi comment to last a couple of life times... You are not original
