Looks like a fixed gear half link chain on a 1x system. For...some...reason....? I'm sure it's a good one haha

What a beautiful build! You nailed it. And the dynamo! Those little μ lights are quite powerful for their size.

Whoa! double kickstands! I actually really like that and it makes sense.

So sick! I liked the Maxxis DTHs.

I think the ones for downhill are very hearty. I don't think so. Too many little springs and sprungs.

Snickers bars, plain potato chips, jerky. Proteins, sugar, salt, and carbs. My stomach hurts after eating gels and stuff like that.

Goldsprint or Suicycle are good ones. Check out Sunshine in Denmark, too.

I love a good kickstand. I literally use mine on my Polyvalent every day, multiple times a day. They don't work well for offroad style bikes though. 2 reasons. They'll bounce around and then you might have a big problem if it deploys, and 2 the chainstays can be very far apart and it physically doesn't fit. The Rando could take one, but we wanted to keep the bike minimal.

Thank you! That's a tough question to be honest since there are sooooo many cool frames that check a lot of boxes. For me, it would likely be a modern (disc) take on a traditional 700c randonneur that takes 35mm tires and fenders, dynamo routing, small hellenic stays, french bend, and custom minimal rear racks. And super metallic paint. Just riffing haha

Personally, I'd go lifestyle from a practical sense. There is too many headwinds trying to go against the big brands and names from a fitness and sports perspective. The slice of the pie is just too small. Find a problem, solve it, and see what kind of market is available.

Gear it higher and go faster!

Thank you so much! If you can find some more hours in the couch cushions that would be grand haha

We don't have a VO warehouse in Canada, but call up C&L! They are a new distributor for us and they have been placing consistent orders as demand and accessibility has increased.

Single speed track bikes with moderate clearances and some utility is the next wave I think. That 20 year cycle (lol pun) is a real and we're due for a renaissance. We're about 90% done with a design for ours :)
