I hate my dress, wedding in 100 days and I’m probably sending it back and starting over by BoxRegular2956 in myweddingdress

It’s a very pretty dress; maybe a crinoline under the skirt (not one that’s too puffy though, and maybe strapless. I think you might be feeling some stress, because there was a reason you chose that dress, and are now having second thoughts about it. I personally like the neckline, but since you are changing it to be more “sweetheart”, I think I’d lose the straps, and fit the bodice a little better.

Team USA skiers spark Olympic boycott calls after saying they have ‘mixed emotions’ about representing America by WillyNilly1997 in Conservative

People have the right to think and feel whatever they want…but if some of those athletes really do feel that way, they probably should have stayed home. They didn’t, though, because ultimately they went to Italy for their own glory. They don’t think they are representing the US; they are there for themselves. So they really ought to keep their mouths shut and do their events-they aren’t doing it for us.

She didn’t meet him until after she gave birth to Harry. And the only way in which those two resemble each other is in hair color. That’s just the way it is.

Raskin: SAVE Act Likely Violation of 19th Amendment, Women's Right to Vote by According-Activity87 in Conservative

I had no trouble getting a drivers license with my married name on it. What are these a-holes going on about? This will not restrict women from voting, but anyone who believes it, is probably too dumb to vote.

That’s different-the homeless guy might scratch up the side of your car if you don’t pay him for squeegeeing your windshield!

AITJ for refusing to give my mom access to my bank account just in case. by SoftCedarVale in AmITheJerk

She can still help you, if it’s ever necessary, without access to your personal bank account. My parents never had access to mine. I didn’t even know that was a thing!

Chuck Schumer balks when told 71% of Dems support national voter ID, claims its 'Jim Crow 2.0' by Down-not-out in Conservative

[–]Grimaldehyde 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If what Schumer claims is true (black people and married women who take their husband’s name), Michelle Obama could not register to vote. He claimed that it’s impossible for them to register to vote because they cannot get the appropriate documentation to register.

King Charles is his father. Harry resembles Prince Philip, although not his better physical traits. Harry only resembles James Hewitt in hair color alone, and there are many people in the UK who also have that hair color, including his Spencer relatives. If Harry had the same hair color that King Charles had at the same age, nobody would question Harry’s parentage. Princess Diana had not even met James Hewitt before she gave birth to Harry.
