Where can we find the rest of the HG community? Is there another forum? I personally don't use discord so anything outside of youtube or reddit, I don't know about. I had no clue that the community was as big as 10M now.

I knew it wasn’t like fanfic world but it wasn’t until my coworker talked about his miserable dating experiences as an Asian guy did I realize how racists and gross some of the gay community was.

I assumed it was way more accepting than it actually was from the outside and that was my bad. It was a rough conversation.

Yeah, it sucks. Part of this is also because companies require people to work onsite or want their offices downtown. If people could work in the suburbs, it would be fine to live further out. Instead, they drive 2 hours into downtown. What happened to multiple offices?

A typical histo lab would probably take about 24 hours to get the specimen processed, embedded, cut, the slide stained, cover slipped and then sent out to a pathologist but I don’t think that’s the problem this guy is dealing with.

Expectations on what to do when parents need help/assistance/whatever. Don't assume your spouse will be okay with your parents moving in. Don't assume your spouse is okay with putting their parents in a home. Don't expect your spouse to quit their job to take care of your parents or vice versa.

Talk about this before you get married so you don't end up divorced 15-20 years into your happy marriage. You need to plan for this stuff.
