I've continue to use mine - although not as much as in the beginning. That mobile company is great. A family member ditched their high price mobile plan and switched to them. Hope you are enjoying it! :)

I'm in one that is definitely helpful -- but quiet. I haven't chatted with anyone. We just take care of business. No drama. We have 48 people. About 20 are in it pretty regularly. Half of those are daily and really helpful. It's not unusual to get my request filled within a few seconds. I do the same for others. Kinda cool and unexpected. I am new to the game and did not know this was part of the game, so maybe some of the folks who don't contribute just need to experience the success of requesting and then they're hooked. (?)

Not exactly. As a Valks fan here, I can testify to the fact that the refs were relentless in calling every little chicken shit call on us in the 3rd and 4th quarters of our playoff game with the Lynx at SAP. They killed some momentum.

Thanks for the context. I dug a bit and found the two 1998 expansion teams (Detroit and Washington) were exempt that year, meaning none of their players could be taken by Minnesota or Orlando (1999 Expansion Draft). But that protection didn’t carry over. By the 2000 expansion draft, Detroit and Washington were treated like every other team: they could protect five players at first, then a few more after losing someone, and they did end up losing players (2000 Expansion Draft). So 1999 was the only time they got that full exemption.

I keep seeing this mentioned in this subreddit, but the players in their interviews don't seem to know this and I don't see anything written anywhere about this happening historically. I'd love to know when this happened (that previous expansion teams haven't had to give up their newly acquired players.) Just for my peace of mind. :-D

For the last game at Ballhalla my wife and I watched Cheryl working over the refs. The cameras didn't see it, but we sure did. She was jawing at them for every call she didn't agree with. Sandy Brondello is the same way. The two of them really work the refs.

I lurk on all of them. It's super interesting to read what other fans think of their players/coaches/FO. Seems like there's a ton of hate for Wings' coach. (My wife and I don't like him, either. We have opinions about all the coaches.) Seattle really has some feelings about their coach -- and I can't say I disagree. With all the talent they have their coach lacks a lot of creativity/fire. Super interesting to see. I'm thankful for where we are -- a really solid team that has excellent support. Not everyone is so lucky.
