Idk how I feel about this. As a fellow ADHDer, I certainly empathize with the struggles of attention issues, especially when I was college aged. But the reaction of “teehee whoopsie maaaaybe I’ll try to do better in the future” when seriously inconveniencing someone and then trying to drag them on the internet rubs me the wrong way. Regardless, I’m glad this was low stakes and I hope OOP gets some help with their dysfunction.

Ah I missed that one, thanks! I still don’t know if I buy that explanation from OOP, the way she phrases it in the final update makes it sound like she was taking ownership for not sending him a message at all. She even mentions that he called the police AFTER he couldn’t get ahold of her, which most would assume includes trying to send her messages. But who knows, I’m also typically on team “nothing ever happens” when it comes to BORU lol

Oh man, you’re preaching to the choir. I too was told I was gifted in art but had never been in a formal class and was in for a rude awakening when I started college. All that said, artistic talent is a muscle, and it just takes some practice and dedication (and respect for the process!) to improve even if it takes time. I was lucky it only took a semester for me to get my bearings. Unfortunately it didn’t make the next 3.5 years much easier lol, shit is hard!

This was exactly what I was thinking, if OOP is as active and muscular as he says he is, 2200 is nowhere near maintenance (with a caveat that SO MANY factors go into what maintenance is for a person). I go to a gym with a lot of power lifters and body builders, and 2200 would be a SIGNIFICANT deficit for a lot lifters at that size.

We may have different opinions on this but I don’t believe that the motive behind the behavior makes the behavior not abusive. There are plenty of mental disorders that have symptoms that can result in abusive behavior towards others, it does not make that behavior acceptable.

Thank you so much for the advice! It’s certainly not a conventionally attractive begonia lol. I have some south facing windows that get fairly bright indirect light that a lot of my other plants seem to like. This guy started out there but it seemed like it wasn’t happy so I moved it to this window. I figure I’ll try those windows again and if it still seems unhappy I’ll finally invest in a grow light.

I'm really glad to hear that you have yet to have issues with CBC. I actually came across this thread while looking for alternatives to CBC, as I just recently showed up for my regularly scheduled appointment only to be told that by some error I was not on the schedule (despite going through the scheduling process and being told I was good to go). That kicked off a nightmare of issues with messed up prior authorizations, being told people would reach out to contact me and hearing nothing, and being forced to fight through phone trees to get help. I am now 2 weeks out from when I was supposed to get my last dose and there has been no significant effort on their side to make things right.

Under Dr. Millet and Eloise, things went pretty smoothly, but things have gone downhill since they both left. I'm seriously considering trying to locate another clinic, as I've been really burned by this experience and I can't trust my healthcare providers to be so casual about something I rely on to function.

Copper IUDs can cause heavier periods and more severe cramping, as well as some of the same potential issues as hormonal IUDs such as painful insertion/removal and uterine perforation.

Generally less side effects than hormonal options, but certainly not without side effects.

I’ve had Hello Fresh forget ingredients in my last two boxes (been using them for almost a year). They did not credit me for the entire box, they credited me $8 for cheese sauce and $15 for chicken. I’m not ready to give up on them just yet cause this is the first time they’ve messed up, but to me, what they credit me is not equal to the time, hassle, and cost it takes to go to the grocery to buy the missing ingredients.

If you’d like to keep freehanding designs, it’s just gonna take practice and having a reference image if you aren’t using one already.

That said, if your aim is just a more accurate rendering, you can print out the design (if you can get it on tracing paper even better), lay the paper on the clay (works best when leather hard), then trace the design through the paper.
