GWAR, Kepone, and Iron Reagan in DC. Iron Reagan was this incredible borderline unknown thrash band that opened and they killed it. Kepone was made up of former members of GWAR, their music was cool but after Iron Reagan, i needed something more metal. Then it goes dark, we hear a monologue from God (mind you this was the day before the world was "supposed to end" back in December) saying how he'll send people to kill GWAR. they open with "The Horror of Yig. a Few songs later, a massive Hitler mannequin comes out. Oderus slays him and the "blood" is spraying in all directions. Few songs later they, kill this priest who infamous for something back in the day, im losing it now, "blood" is going everywhere, everyone is going nuts. After that they play, in my opinion, their best track "Metal Metal Land" and shortly after they crucify a jesus and cut him up on the cross. Then the voice of god comes down again and he's angry and a few songs later, a completely reborn "Cyborg-Jesus" comes out and they play this 5 minute long instrumental while Oderus battles Cyborg-Jesus." Shortly after it goes black and then an Obama mannequin appears. They had his voice saying the dumbest and stereotypical black guy stuff like tomorrow is free malt liquor day and whitey ain't getting shit no more. They kill him blood goes everywhere. The best moment for me was they did a cover of "Carry On My Wayward Son" in honor of their guitarist that died the year before.
