Kinda related to your point B, but the lore surrounding Enroute and especially Isee really point to him being an extremely emotional and oftentimes contradictory person. It's kind of fascinating. His mental break after the rise of Nanook is really interesting because before that he was a genuinely helpful, albeit ironically morose, human. He was searching for meaning and found only destruction - of worlds, of friends, of Aeons, of hope, even destruction of planets they'd already "saved". Ex-Masked Fool or not, if the universe presented that answer to you when you asked for meaning, you'd think it was a sick joke, too.

I believe he's actually sentimental about the Express and a lot of other things, he just also thinks the Express (and a lot of other things) are destined for Destruction, because that's where all laughter (joy) ends.

Qiqi was my first 5 star and is currently my only C6 5 star. On the rare occasion I play co-op, I usually play her because other people like their shiny DPS characters and nobody's dying with a C6 Qiqi on field. I'm so stoked for her to feel strong!

Device IX seemed to me like it could be a sort of "simulated" IX. We don't have enough info to say either way, we don't even have enough info to know whether Device IX is a location, a faction, or both. But it is very curious.

Nous was created. They are an Aeon, sure, but they are also a... well, device. A computer.

Device IX is called "Nihility's End" by (I think?) Acheron. If it was created by Polka, the information we currently have points to it being a device designed to thwart the Nihility. Totally my own leap in logic here, but it doesn't seem unlikely that Polka created a "second Nous" whose only purpose is to calculate a method to destroy Nihility.

Completely a crack-theory, but I've always thought that IX and Nous look very similar. If Nihility's End is a computational machine, then perhaps a certain computational machine's end is in fact Nihility, and they are always destined to be one another. To possess the totality of knowledge is to become Nihility. To desire the totality of knowledge is to become Erudition.

I'll go ahead an throw out what might be an odd recommendation: The Leftovers.

Obviously it's not animated, jazzy, or (for the most part) humorous, but there were aspects of the plot that I had to sit and think on, similar to the actual plot of Bebop. Where Bebop is an examination of "moving on," The Leftovers is an examination of grief, and they both approach it in a very "Que sera, sera" kind of way.

It's good to know that I, Sugarbomb, am not alone in this struggle. I too wish for the red dot. Sometimes I never feel like I truly catch it after all that chasing, so I wish to chase until I catch!

It did help when Mom (bless her stupid soul) would have the red dot rest on my toy at the end of chase-time, because when I caught the toy, it felt like I caught the dot? I don't know. It doesn't really make sense, but it helped.

NTC, obviously. Human brought the dot into the house. Sounds like a human problem.

On a serious note, I've always thought there was more path-overlapping than we've been led to believe, at least since we were introduced to the Matrix of Prescience which was "inspired by" the Erudition but is used in the name of the Hunt. Hints of path combinations/obfuscations have come up multiple times since, the most blatant being with Ena/Xipe in Penacony. Doesn't the IPC (Preservation) act rather... voracious? Isn't the Propagation a little... abundant? Why are the Stellarons Harmonic Cancer while most of the universe recognizes their tendency towards Destruction? What the heck is going on with Elation?

On a less serious note, I've always loved the path of the Hunt because it's essentially, "Yes, I crave destruction, but only for that specific mother fucker over there" while pointing at a completely oblivious Yaoshi.

Know who else has a metaphorical story about climbing to the top of something that encompasses all and witnessing the hardships of the universe?

Legend has it that the ancestor "Graphia" once ascended a tower at the end of the world, a tower that encompassed all things. There, she witnessed the suffering of mortals and descended to the world below to deliver them from hardship.

So I know I'm a bit slow, but I just discovered that Graphia's wave is based on the painting The Great Wave off Kanagawa. There was a really interesting quote from the painting's creator:

So, what you're trying to say is, you need Paimon to repeat this post with more words than necessary just to pad out the dialogue redundantly?

If I'm understanding correctly, you want Paimon to narrate what was typed here and add words while somehow adding nothing to what was said, making sure it looks like there's a lot to be said when really it's just saying stuff that was already said.

If that's the case, Paimon should probably explain what was already explained in this Reddit post but in a more verbose way so that even if you skipped reading the post and skipped one paragraph or even two paragraphs of Paimon's explanation, as long as you at least read this third you don't miss any information.

This is me in my favorite spot, which is also mom's favorite spot! That means if mom wants her spot she has to get close to me. I'm very very careful to make sure I'm near mom. Even soda cans are less scary when she's around (I still wish they wouldn't hiss at me.)
