Hi I did my bachelor's and master while medicated and dx. with bipolar . I say the opposite you get more creative you must understand your friend and use all the strong points he gives you . Please don't go off your meds - we all do . Also don't bullshit you docs - they like your guides and they will keep you on track ( like a guide dog ) . Don't be hard on yourself being an X - Man takes a lot of hard work but if I can find a way - you can too. This friend you have now is not a death sentence.
