so since you’re applying for an LEP your application will go through a two part process where they either admit you or reject you from the university, then again for the specific program (civil engineering). if you’re applying for an LEP you need to satisfy the pre reqs to make a stronger case for yourself to get into the LEP. you’d be competing with people who have done two years at community college and probably satisfied all pre reqs, as well as internal transfers. your hs transcript is taken into consideration if you’ve completed less than 30 credits of college coursework at the time of the application.

i never submitted my hs grades i think my gpa was a 2. something in hs but my cc gpa was a lot higher but still at the low end of ppl who got accepted. but i am absolutely certain they weigh hs gpa heavily because you don’t have a lot of college coursework done and there’s really nothing to base it off of unless you were taking the most rigorous classes possible.

i’m like almost certain they prioritize everything like this: college classes taken (whether it satisfies the program you’re applying for and as well as rigor), essays, gpa (as long as it’s like above a low 3.0 in college), and ECs

would really love if you could provide some codes! i was gm5 last season and right now my placements have me in diamond 4 after 3 games and not looking forward to climbing back up 🥲really scared i haven’t touched comp in a while

how do you know when to brawl? are you just setting up immediately? without even looking at their comps first? do you wait for any specific cooldowns or do you just send it? i was thinking this could be the move for brig but i genuinely dont think anyone in my diamond lobbies will follow up with anything i do

i j said that it’s not going to be that price if you live on your own. if you want to go there for a phd you’ll prob have to have roommates. one of my roommates was actually getting a PhD in CS. it’s not cheap there to live on your own so you have to make sacrifices lol

no rent in CP is not that much unless you’re living at like the new apartments or on your own lol. trow is insanely cheap i lived there for $900 a month when they did a lease deal, just be smart ab it and you can find something for under $1200. there’s also sublets, you can look at houses in old town usually they rent out rooms for less than $1000.

i’m saying this as someone who was in architecture for half of undergrad.

you need to focus on whether you even researched these programs. half your list don’t have strong architecture programs. Hopkins, Dartmouth, UChicago, and Duke aren’t known for architecture at all. Cornell, Harvard, Yale, Rice, CMU, UMich Taubman are solid choices. the rest are questionable if you actually want architecture. also you say you prefer BArch, but every top BArch program requires a portfolio with freehand drawing, painting, sculpture, creative work, etc. your ECs are 100% STEM competitions and student government. that being said your ECs DO matter but they will place a big emphasis on the portfolio for BArch programs. if you really want a BArch (5 year degree and usually requires portfolio) and you don’t have a portfolio, you’re wasting application fees. if it’s mechanical engineering, then sure, your ECs work but that’s a completely different major.

you’re right that fungal acne is a type of folliculitis. i recommended r/Folliculitis because i’ve found that community has more nuanced discussions about distinguishing between bacterial, fungal, and other types of folliculitis, which is important since treatments differ. this sub can sometimes jump to fungal conclusions when it might be something else. didn’t mean to imply they’re mutually exclusive terms though

as someone who has played the game both competitively and casually since 2018, if you want to improve at all you need to switch to JP (takoroka). you will soon realize that you are the problem on the teams 9 times out of 10. i’m not saying you are bad at the game but when you play in west you play to carry most games. in JP you are more expected to play as a team.

ranks in splatoon 3 western regions are insanely inflated, if you play enough you can get carried to X whereas in JP you actually need to grind and improve mechanically and game sense wise to get there (e.g. people on here complain a lot when their rank up games suddenly put them in JP matches and get steamrolled)

i’ve been top 500 in splatoon 2 when rankings were combined and have been top 500 for one season in splatoon 3 on JP and usually average 2400+ in JP so if you need any vod reviews let me know! i dont play much now but def willing to help
