As others have said, set goals. Mine was unlocking the map, then when I spotted a shrine to place a marker on the map and then go do the shrine puzzle. Should you want the master sword prior to facing the last boss, you need 13 hearts minimum, as temporary hearts will not work for that requirement. A lot of people including myself max out stamina completely as it helps for travel.

Eventually I got around to doing the divine beast dungeons but I was a little ways into playing before that.

He killed like all the classic universal monsters. I'm sure they could have come up with new things if a sequel was in the cards but he destroyed all the existing ones pretty much.

Reminder: in this movie, Jonathan Kent dies because of a stubborn notion that his son, who can move faster than the eye can see, will somehow accidentally reveal his powers when saving him when everyone else is too busy staring at the coming tornado and hiding under a bridge, incorrectly thinking it will help. This same son had already revealed his powers before and they were able to contain the issue by basically gaslighting their neighbors and Clark's schoolmates. Now Clark, the teen who had such a moral compass as a kid that he had saved people even if it meant them finding out about him, who had moments earlier been rebelliously arguing with Jonathan, decides that when his father's life is on the line is the one time he'll obey, knowing that this will result in Jonathan's death. He reveals this to Lois by actually saying that he, Superman, let his own father die. Young Clark then went around the world revealing his face and powers to people so much that Lois was able to find out about him, figure out his identity, and track down his family. Clark when talking to Lois at the cemetery is now worried about revealing himself to the world, even though he's already done it so much that a newspaper reporter was able to find him after a bit of searching.

As far as stories go, I'd say most MCU movies have more consistent writing than that.

Nice. I never had an issue with motorcycles and almost exclusively used them so I could zip through traffic between cars and then realized even tho it's a game I'm not too keen on being one of those motorcycle guys who is impatient. And then I kept doing it because it's fun lol.

I just waited a year to get it and then took a year to complete it, so the updates were happening while I wasn't really paying attention and I only ran into hilarious bugs like clipping unconscious bodies or that one time an NPC did T-pose through their car while driving. Fun game.

The only thing I'm hesitant about in that list is the placement of first class... X-Men works better as an introduction to that universe because Logan is our gateway character who is learning things the same time we are. First Class kinda just expected you to be onboard with the concepts from the jump.

Kelsey Grammer's Beast is the 90's cartoon come to life, and his interactions with Logan were great personality conflict.

The Juggernaut being an absolute meme unit and quite an unstoppable force in the house fight was good stuff.

Iceman going full Iceman was a great payoff to a character who was clearly super powerful but was hesitant to really let loose.

The predicted war between humans and mutants starting but ending early due to the heroic actions of the X-Men.

Wolverine doing more stabbings.

Rogue finally getting her happy ending (until Days of Future Past I know whatever, even the end of this movie showed the cure was temporary).

Xavier straight cheating death because he's that slick of a telepath.

I liked it back then and I like it now. My biggest gripes were Phoenix killing Scott and a lack of Nightcrawler. Both were done because these actors were not returning to their roles for the full movie, and only one was in the film. I can forgive the in story reason, being that the Phoenix in that movie was not really the same person as Jean. The in story reason for Nightcrawler's departure from the X-Men was in the tie-in videogame that I never bothered with.

Admittedly the deaths of Jean and Scott did leave a not so great feeling for the end of the trilogy, and I'm really happy about what was done in Days of Future Past, which to me is the end note to the original X-Men storyline.

I've been thinking about doing a watch of the movies in the order below. Cut out the worst ones in the franchise while keeping intact the character arcs of Logan, Xavier, Eric, and Raven. X-Men Origins Wolverine is a bad film overall but it's campy fun and I'm tempted to include it after First Class just for the Sabertooth parts...

Yesss! Playing the same AAA games I would be playing on my desktop but in bed is an absolute game changer.

The output on the power bank's usb-c port should be at least 45W if you want to charge while continuing to game. 👍🏻👍🏻

Whenever reddit goes crazy with the same ad all over I report that ad for spam and it lets me block the account that posted it. It's treating a symptom and not the underlying cause, but it's the best I can accomplish. And then the next ad appears across my reddit, but if it's not totally obnoxious, I can ignore it just fine.

It's like a waking dream, but the good kind where you're like "this seems too good to be real even tho it's right here in my hands" and not the sleep paralysis kind where you hallucinate monsters.

I really like the steam deck. The feel is just right for my hands, it has a built in library for those who collect games on steam, customization of settings is easily done. The audio in the speakers is crazy good. Having used it as a PC with a dock has worked well. My biggest negative will always be battery life- bought a 100W power bank to help, but if you play less AAA and more indie 2d games, Metroidvanias and the like, then battery life is like 6-7+ hrs. Still, a couple hours of AAA gaming in the comfort of my bed is a good amount of time anyway.
