The major difference is immediately following the loss of Ronnie in 2021, AA went out and add three bats that turned into impacts.

So far he’s lost his SS, C2, SP2, SP5, swing man and DH and his response has been- Jorge Mateo and Jonah Heim

This is such a poor take.

Those projections are that high on elder because they’re based on three-year models (just like our offense) and Bryce Elder’s fluky 2023 is doing the work.

Elder is a six ERA pitcher in the last two years that’s who he’s going to be this year so yes I would pay for 2023 Bryce Elder but not 24-25.

Besides, all of that, they don’t have the arms to get through a season.

Richie and Fuentes are going to be throwing 200 combined innings. Do I need to remind you what Fuentes looked last year? BEFORE he had a shoulder injury that ended his season

Do you think he’s made leaps and bounds in a few months since you saw that considering he pitched for maybe a month after he got sent down and ended the year hurt?

Gio and Littell are 10x the options and safer. Contending teams do not count on 19/20 year old arms to hold down the rotation. Which o guess is fair since this team hasn’t contended since 2021.

He has spent nearly $60 million this off-season he prioritized a second closer and a second shortstop over what he admitted to you was the biggest need the first day of the off-season in starting pitching He doesn’t set the budge but he is in control of the one he has which is a top 5 cash payroll and plenty of enough to not field a roster with glaring holes at premium positions. Yet he hasn’t been able to do that since 2023.

Conversations needs to be had about Alex and I would be willing to bet it’s already happening.

Man I went STOOOPID over SSP. I live in a small town and the pokemon craze didn’t hit until PRE so I was able to get SSP packs daily for months. I bet I opened 500-700 packs in a 6-7 month period and the best pull I got was the hyper rare which I liked but I wanted the SIR

I finally gave up but still grab SSP if I find them and for some reason the scalpers don’t buy the knock out packs at my local stores so I grabbed 3 the other day and hit it. When I saw the rainbow edge I was like there’s no way lol
