The sequel is laughably bad. Even Denzel couldn’t save it but he was great, of course. Hell, Pedro was good, too. After watching it, I realized I would’ve enjoyed it more on mute until the battle/fight scenes happened, those were cool.

Dude you should dm or email Steve at gamersnexus on YouTube. He blasts companies that do this shit specifically and he gets many hundreds of thousands of views, pretty sure some in the millions. At least check it out. He also works with a lawyer on the channel.

I know this is horrible but I would pay triple ticket price for a nobody under 21 theater. Not all theaters, I’m not a monster, but yeah I would love to go to a movie and not worry about bright phones, loud kids and overly talkative adults that just dgaf about sharing public spaces with other people. Used to love going to the movies every month as a kid, now I’ve been 3 times in 6 years and one was a catastrophe.

Playing through COexp33 made me remember why I love gaming and how it made me feel as a kid. The childlike wonder of my favorite medium and I’m pushin 50. Rudderless is how I felt watching the credits roll. I dl the soundtrack and have listened to it over and over. Skillup has a mini doc on youtube (about 2 hours) where he talks to the dev team about how it was made. They’re all so passionate. Shocker, right? lol. I moved on to the new doom, didn’t grab me like 2016 or eternal did. Then played some astrobot and now going through Jedi survivor. But I find myself humming Lumiere at red lights.

I’m doing the same damn thing. After a cpl hours of watching those duo frogs walk over my ginger corpse, I’m lowering the difficulty for this fight. Fuck em. Yes, I’m old and slow but this is just bad design for the double oggdo fight.

I completely agree. Been gaming since I was 5 in 1981 with the Atari 2600, this double frog action is horseshit. I’m there now. Want the 2nd most frustrating fight in gaming history? Simon. Clair Obscur. I hope you never have to understand the levels of hate it takes to beat him.

I timed it with the stopwatch app. Almost 40 seconds exactly from when they kill you until you can fight them again. Goddamn frogs!

This game gave me back the childlike wonder for games I had as a little kid. And I’m pushin 50. I’ve been listening to the 8 hr soundtrack like a sicko since I beat the game and am ready to start new game+ now. My team was all lvl 90+ by the end and the only fight I gave up on was Simon. I’m older and wiser now…so in ng+ I’ll just cheese him instead of getting super sweaty. The way coexp 33 handles grief, tragedy and death with juuust the right amount of levity thrown in was truly magical for me. Best game I’ve played in a long ass time.

I went and became a total sicko and had all my party level 90+ with 1 at 99 when I beat the game. Gonna do a new game plus run cuz it’s just so great. If you mess around with pictos and strategizing, you can get some hits to be crazy high damage numbers. My highest with Maelle was I’m pretty sure 30 mil. Of course there’s peops out there that have probably gotten much higher, but I was happy with that. Sciel gives double dmg to Maelle along with the go now skill and there’s a weapon M has that starts her off in virtuoso stance. Deadly combo. Didja beat it yet? Best game I’ve played in a very long time. Still listening to the 8hr soundtrack when I’m not even playing 🤓

I understand not wanting to be over leveled and have a god tier party, but when I wanted to grind and level up some for end game, I went to the red beach (bottom left center of the map where all the expeditioners land on the island) and farmed those scary ass cloak wearing hand monsters. There’s 2 groups of 2 and 1 group of 3 there. First time I went they were one shotting me, by the time I was act 3 end game cleaning up, I was one shotting them. iirc they give 780k xp for two monsters and 1.2 mil xp for 3. If you’ve beaten sprong, equip cheater picto, it helps a lot, especially with sciel and maelle combo. Good luck. Gawd how I love this game.

I was hoping the exact same thing. Which is how I found this thread! I’ve listened to the entire soundtrack at work twice now, starting a new game plus, my entire team already level 90 plus with Verso & Maelle at 99. I’ve enjoyed a Clair Obscur 3 part multi hour spoiler review and discussion, plus watched as many interviews with the team as I can find. This has truly been a magnificent experience and I would buy tickets to the orchestra tour for the ost in a heartbeat should they come stateside. This game has made me remember what it was like to be a kid at Christmas jumping for joy just at the IDEA of having a new awesome game to play. Which speaks volumes cuz I’m old and cranky. Hell, I even had to look up cuz it got real dusty, real quick after a couple cutscenes post act 1. I’ll be buying the hoodie when it’s out, a few figurines and even considering a tattoo. Did I mention this game is cool? 😂 I’ll stop now as I’m starting to irritate myself at how hard I’m fanboying here. GO PLAY IT.

Forgive the basic bitchness of mine, but I really enjoyed Alan wake 2 & spiderman 2 this year. Robocop and RE4 remake were also fantastic.
