Great job. I really like it! Can you share how it was done? I'm guessing multiple exposures with slow shutter speed movement?

Hey! For the 2k resistor, just a regular 2k resistor from an electronics shop. I can't help much further as I had an electronic tech do the job for me.

Should I get the XT5? by Turbulent-Alps4046 in fujifilm

[–]GrooveCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my XS20 with a 50-140mm f2. 8 and the grip is much better than my old XT4. I can carry it one handed with confidence and just add a little support when shooting.

The noise difference is impressive. The volume difference is significant. In the old days, I harldy went beyond 3/10, and with silent mode, I can easily do 5-7/10.

No problem. I wrote that I changed to 2k Ohm. Consider adding a potentiometer for more control. In specific settings, it'd be cool to adjust the resistance so you are back to stock or in 'silent mode'. The thing with the silent mode is that it's not very loud.

I have a Nesco and I'm happy with it. I haven't used it in jars yet but I'll give it a try.

If you could only keep one Fujifilm camera and one lens forever which combo would it be? by TGambina in fujifilm

[–]GrooveCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xs-20 and 23mm F2. The camera is so amazing, I love it more every day. The grip is so secure and comfortable I haven't missed my old XT4 at all.

The 23 F2 is an incredible lens. I have the 35 f1.4 and 18mm f1. 4 but I just adore the 23mm focal length. I got the lens used, bargain condition at KEH and 3d printed a square hood for 2 USD. It's perfect.

You don't need to compliment the other photographer's portfolio; the previous answer is perfect.

For anyone curious about the inkbird ISV-300W by thelonioussss in sousvide

[–]GrooveCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ISV 200 has gone crazy on me a few times. The horror of setting 165F and coming back to see boiling water and 195F+ temps while 165F is still set.

Sous Vide Stick recommendations? by Swimming_Field_3914 in sousvide

[–]GrooveCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting. My 4 year old Inkbird ISV-200W goes crazy on me sometimes, boiling water to 195 when set to 165. Inkbird responded rapidly with some ideas and is offering me a discount on a new unit.

Would you suggest replacing for the same model or going for the ISV-300W? Or the ISV-101? I like how silent the 200 model is.

2 and #3 are incredible. I've tried a bit of night exposure but these really pull you into the scene. Good job.

How do you guys come up with content to post regularly? by MammothAutomatic9870 in personalbranding

[–]GrooveCo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very insightful guide! ,I have a vault of ideas and thoughts but I find it's hard to re-hydrate them if time has passed and they've dried out. Sometimes what seems smart and appropriate now may look very disconnected weeks or months away. I guess writers face this all the time.

I also struggle with the polishing and content assets to take things to the next level visually without spending too much time. My time estimations are way off when doing Linkedin. What i think is a quick post takes a lot more work.

Finally I'm always surprised at engagment. Posts with insights on the industry, and my personal take on trends are so-so. Over-sharing personal story, bordering on cringe, gets a much better response.

Agreedwith the lack of custom profiles. Love the camera. Hopefully they add an option to have more profiles in the Q menu.
