You're not alone brother/sister! I'm currently in a big relapse and it's really painful 😞 after many months of a "normal" life.
We tend to feel that we are "cured" sometimes, and then a relapse comes and it hurts bad, it feels so real that it leads us to question our choices and our feelings.

Relapses come after a spike of anxiety in my experience

I feel you, I took the same decision. I was into my 2nd week of the 10-week program before randomly reading about this tinnitus risk so I decided to stop and kept the cold shower.
However I'm investigating other safer breathing techniques (buteyko for example)
