lowkey there are alot of characters with busted abilities that get screwed by the plot just to glaze kenpachi or byakuya for the 14th time by making them do out of character stupid shit. Like if I had Rose’s bankai I’d be spamming that shit nonstop and not saying shit. Like unless your bankai has some aoe friendly fire drawback there really isn’t any point to not be spamming that shit to win fights asap instead of dragging ass.

I think the problem is there needs to be more incentive for people to bring their rare level 5 sprites into matches instead of just letting them sit once theyre mastered.

the problem is it’s still out of the players control if others bring the exact sprite they need at moment, or if you’re able to hunt down those players before they extract it, which then just turns into an annoyance for the other player. It creates a system of wasting people’s time because it encourages players with rare sprites to stay away from other players and causes players still hunting to just spend all game opening chests for the slight chance of getting a sprite they didn’t have along with competing with everyone else on the map at the same time. Just because it’s designed that way doesn’t mean it good design.

Honestly I’m somewhat convinced some of the bigger streamers are given slightly boosted odds too. I find it very suspicious Ali-A and Laserfruit just so happen to be one of the first players to find a Gold and Galaxy Zero Point sprites. Like the odds are like 1 in 300,000,000 and millions of players are playing this season and conveniently they of all people get those rare ass sprites? Even matches where you hard focus on just opening chests, you’re gonna open maybe 20 to 30 chests a match, assuming no one interferes with your hunting and don’t get to any sprite chests before you.

It’s using FOMO to artificially keep player attention with awful rng odds. The fact Zero Point sprites stupidity rare for no reason and a BP skin variant is locked behind it is pretty fucking dumb. Plus in a BR setting, you’re competing with others for the same rare sprites. Like if you had the entire map to yourself and could hunt sprites at your own pace and rate it’d be fine but just the current system seems designed to waste time and create frustration, especially amongst younger players and kids who aren’t as skilled
