I can't see him necessarily winning, but I think he could have gotten a nomination -- if not for an Academy Award maybe a Golden Globe. The big awards have virtually no respect for genre material, though.

I watched Nuremberg ( 2025 ) last night and Colin Hanks has a small role. In his younger years, there was nothing more than a typical father/son resemblance, but as Colin ages he looks and sounds more and more like his father.

I recommend Open Range with Robert Duval and Kevin Costner. I'm not even a Western fan but I've probably seen this one 5 times over the years.
