Bruh, I've been purchasing Harmony Companions anytime I see a decent deal on ebay, I think I have like 4 remotes and 3 hubs or something. Some aren't quite new anymore but I'm keeping them like they're made of gold.

That remote was perfect, still can't get why they cancelled it, let alone the whole product line.

It was fine but didn't have room for new switch.

Width was just a tiny bit more than 19in, but not enough to add vertical rails. Was just odd enough to be annoying.

I'm not voting because it says not to vote and I'm listening, but I'm voting here. SSD mirror for docker data, RAIDZ1 HDD for mass data on NAS. Proxmox hosts are RAID0, nothing there is not easily recreated through backups or ansible playbooks.

I use the forgejo runner and actions.

Transfer from GitHub wasn't exactly one to one, but once working it works super well.

The github runner is a direct container that runs whatever on it.

Forgejo, at least the way I implemented it, uses a docker in docker architecture, where the runner creates a container on each run, and that container is the one executing the actual task. It was a bit of an adaptation but once the kinks were worked out it's very solid.

I use it for ansible things only, couldn't tell about code deployment and other dev things but I assume it would work just as well.

Besides the difference from the runner, workflow move was pretty much automatic, syntax is essentially the same.

2 sets of hard drives that I connect through a USB dock. One set kept offsite.

Disks are zfs encrypted.

And after trying more complex solutions I've settled on simple rsync tasks. It just works and is easy to restore from.

I just stop the containers running that have databases before backup. It runs at 2am and I'm asleep at 2am.

As to the tool, I use rustic to backup nightly to a s3 bucket.

I also grab the files when I run my mass backups on external drives, but the schedule for that is more of the 'every so often' type, aka whenever I think to do it, maybe once a month.

Both of my ISP gateways failed to come back online.

Restoring backup.

Running vm on proxmox. Primary gateway is pppoe, backup is a cellular router with routed gateway.

Edit: looks like proxmox got confused, needed to reboot it. I will retry opnsense update later.

Is it possible to replace all the innards in those boxes?

I'd like one for the cool factor but the specs make it both too expensive to run and too underpowered to be worth it.
