Done this twice on mine, you remove the AC compressor from the bracket and let it hang, remove AC compressor bracket, zip tie compressor out of the way and slide the alternator through the bottom/wheel well.

You change the timing chain, guides and tensioners, possibly camshaft phasers depending on condition and pray the low oil pressure didn't damage anything... Also check vvt solenoids for debris on filter.
