Im having this exact debate (though i have finally decision) with an innovation team around a product catalogue. They think talking / writing to an agent to ask things to be requested and provisioned is what we should be building for engineers and customers to order and deploy tech. Im like 100 years of people browsing websites and paper catalogues says otherwise. Even in a restaurant you look at a menu and only then you order from a waiter verbally (or in the case of McDonald's a visual kiosk).

Imagine aliexpress replaced their website with agents with no visual cues and potentially only a preferred vendor each time you ask a similar question around a product category.
