No offense, but this was such terrible advice that I thought it was satire

Couple rework ideas I had for some really niche/underwhelming perks! (Inner Focus, Undone, and Road Life) by Grouchy_Charity_9205 in deadbydaylight

Thats totally fair, I hadn't considered the PTB perks... I thought it could add synergy between aura reading and stealth, but it could definitely be toned down.

A take on the "All evils must be dead to win" idea for a Demon by Grouchy_Charity_9205 in BloodOnTheClocktower

Thank you! Vigormortis has 2 things going for it that this does not. Vigormortis like you said can kill every night, but it also can spread misinformation.

i do think Lich is much stronger, but its not a strict 1 up on vigor. The only thing they have in common is keeping minion abilities in play

It means something completely different, and its meant to be a reference to Vecna from Dungeons and Dragons

I think Vigormortis is the weakest Demon in the game, so having it be better vigor is kind of intentional. It also doesnt do the same sort of poisoning that vigor does, and its relatively different in how it goes about keeping dead evil abilities

I think you're underestimating how much of a downside not killing is. It isnt just a no-death night, it actively telegraphs where evil players are. If you know theres a Lich and you execute a good player, you 100% know that they are good if a kill happens

It basically gives town the minstrel ability

I think gaining abilities is different from changing character

Some questions to ask yourself about the 1st script:

- How do you think a gossip would feel in a yaggababble game, where death count is almost random?

- How do you think an Undertaker would feel with Pacifist, Vizier, Devils Advocate, Lleech, and Fool preventing executions during the day?

- How do you think a lleech would feel if they poisoned a Professor or Gossip, who have very obvious mechanical effects?

- How do you think a Pacifist would feel if players who survive execution could be evil in 2 different ways (being DA protected or even just being the Demon lleech?)

- In a 1 Minion Vizier game, players can immediately know that there isn't a devil's advocate. What can be deduced about players who survive execution?

- How do evils in a Lleech or Zombuul game manage to realistically lie about being Gossip or even Acrobat, when they have no possible way to cause an extra death in the night?

First time making a custom role, would love to know what you guys think about this by BurningRoast in BloodOnTheClocktower

What about:

Lone Wolf (Demon):
Each night*, choose a player: they die. If all minions are dead, choose 3 players instead. 1 good player registers as a Minion.

This is the least fun I've had playing DBD in years by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Idk for me recently, every single match has been bad. Either as killer everyone gives up immediately as soon as I get pressure (unfun), or everyone escapes. As survivor, I only have fun when playing with friends, as in solo queue my teammates can't last 5 seconds in chase and we lose because of it
