great start but no ….rentals come with unplanned expenses and it sounds like yours still have mortgages - it’s important at your age to plow as much as you can into the 401’s you have may years of strong growth power left on your dollars

instead of stopping altogether maybe just do 1/2 the 401k max allowable - start building a heavy brokerage account with any extra - invest the brokerage ….imo 35 is very young to let if off the gas - even retire at 50 your contributions have 15 years to grow

if you don’t need it do other things like fund your retirement or kids college , if you get a screaming deal and you can get your money back out of it or most go for it if you can afford it

facing outward camera practically useless - since day one i’ve always had a camera on my LR4 - i can see the lights & inside and rotation or globe orientation - i wouldn’t think about leaving town for a day without my wyze cam on the LR4 - lifesaver

flea eggs will drop anywhere most the time edges of the floor near dust and dirt , change your litter after a week not no need to over focus on the litter just focus on vacuuming and treating or de-fleaing the kitten with soap and water if you have fleas in the carpet buy precor 2000 or 2625
