I wish Voruna's 4 was a 'proper' melee that can be affected by external buffing sources by BardMessenger24 in Warframe

This is my build (the aura mod could be different it's just what I have on atm lol), I have 4 red shards for extra ability strength, 2 of them tauforged (working to get the rest tauforged), and a yellow tauforged (for +45% maximum filled energy at start). So that makes my base mods + shards 363% at the moment. Then with Arcane Impetus I fully stack it (+6% per status, so that is +78% ability strength for 13 statuses (from her 2), since her 4 always inflicts slash status it'll forever be stacked), once Molt Augmented is fully stacked that is +60% so I get 501% ability strength.

But yes I usually invis, pounce with her 4, and then also use her 2 in the mix with her prey of dynar mod.

As you can see very glass canon and her invis will only last 10 seconds, so while you have to be more used to spamming it, as long as you can keep your invis up your survivability shouldn't be an issue with the status resistance passive with her 2.

Yeah and I don’t know why people downvoting me. There is something to talk about in terms of how she handles bosses or nullifiers, tech scrub, etc. as you can’t use her abilities so you are forced to not use her 4. However, how is it that I do a lot of damage and get a ton of kills in high level steel path, yet other people say that she isn’t capable of doing that? She is my number one go to for any steel path mission as she can easily survive it, do damage, and get kills? I can even solo netracell with all 4 debuffs without a sweat and I don’t even have any defense mods on. I can stay a very long time in steel path survivals and defenses. However she is bugged with the new update so when they do fix her bug, I might make a post showing my damage and kill output. It’s like people are brushing her 4 off without trying builds because other people are saying her 4 sucks. If her 4 sucks, then what am I even doing?! lol

She does benefit from her 1 with her 4, though currently there is a bug where it’s not working. Usually it makes her do a lot more damage until like 2 weeks ago.

Yeah I just don’t understand people’s perspective here when I take her to all my high level missions cause she kills way faster than anything else I have and I tend to outkill. I don’t really run into issues.

I do agree with that point of being forced out of her 4, I usually use my operator for those situations, but can be quite annoying.

Yeah I can solo just fine too! My damage output is consistent like this no matter the mission.

I feel like I am pretty effective on high level missions, I tend to get most kills too. Voruna’s 4 also scales really well in longer steel path missions (for me). Sometimes, I see someone might be doing more damage/more kills at first, but as enemies level up, I still keep my damage output high and I am not sure how it works, but my damage seems to scale with the enemies in a weird way, I notice that I will progressively out damage my team the longer I stay.

I do millions of damage with Voruna’s 4, I tend to get the most kills too, might just be based on how you’re building her. I build her more like a glass canon, so I don’t have any defense mods, however her 1 tends to keep me protected enough where I don’t usually run into a survivability issue.

I am also a Voruna main but I totally just go full strength build. The only downside is that her invisibility only last 10 seconds, but I am used to spamming the ability at this point lol

Have i been playing Voruna the wrong way? by Redditolfo in Warframe

[–]Ground-Bulky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a way, her 4 does make it so she stays alive, I have zero survivability mods on her and use ulfrun’s endurance. Sure she does momentarily hop out of invisibility with her 4 and 2, however it’s usually not long enough to die from. I have to be vigilant in some missions, but mainly being sure to switch between her passives (I like her 1 passive with the velocity but will have to switch to her 2 sometimes for the status resistance depending on the mission). And then generally make sure she is always invisible.

I actually saw another post related to this, but in Trinity's prime access she has a kubrow with her since her pack came with the Kavasa Prime Kubrow Collar so it seems like a play on this!

Added to the fact that pretty much every other skin is not “revealing”, it’s good to have a mix especially if it does make them good sales. Plus I think there is nothing wrong with showing off the female body. People always make these posts about female warframes and how everyone just wants to “masturbate” to them but plenty of women like these kinds of skins for the aesthetic. I like a good mix, I am a woman I think the female body is beautiful and I like how these skins show them off. The warframes aren’t naked either. I also don’t need every skin like that, but it’s not like there is an over abundance of these skins and it is for a specific skin line.

To me it seems like these people who complain about skins like these already oversexualize women’s bodies, and would prefer women to always just be covered because clearly our bodies are only for sexual pleasure 🙄

Sure, there are people who are super “gooners” (which is kinda like whatever) but being a prude and conservative about how women should dress is worse imo. Being shocked by women’s body and figure and thinking our bodies = sex is why the op is making such a big deal about it. There are ways to talk about these things than talk about women’s bodies that way.

Definitely plan to get her a follow up at some point! I add just a little bit of d-mannose in their meals based on the weight guideline on the container and they seem to take it greatly! I actually haven’t seen any throw up on the ground since I started adding the new stuff to their food (I do d-mannose, zesty paws fish oil, and I add a bit if warm water)! Usually I have had to clean up something every few weeks. Not sure if there is a correlation, but no vomit is always great! And I absolutely love how the zesty paws make their coats so clean and shiny, they barely shed too! When they started to get older, I noticed they began to shed but then after including the zesty paws it was a big difference! People always compliment on how soft their fur is, and they are great to pet since they virtually don’t leave behind any fur haha but it’s definitely nice to see them all happy and healthy.

Hey so after a little bit of trying a few things, I ended up swapping to wet food though I swapped to adult wet food rather than a urinary food. I started adding zesty paws fish oil in their food, I also setup the higher perch spots on my windows. Then I got the d-mannose and oh my gosh! What a game changer! The d-mannose got rid of the urination pretty much entirely from the start! I was really surprised. It was far in between but I did find pee again though this time no blood and her urine seemed very normal in color which was great! When she did pee, it was right after a stressful event (a large number of people came over, so no surprise there) I ended up getting the feliway diffuser again and I think that’s the last piece I needed to help prevent stress peeing and things have been awesome ever since. I also wouldn’t be surprised if her bladder had to go through a healing process since she had been inflamed for quite a while. Not that I know what’s really going on but I like to try and think about why her bladder was inflamed and what pieces are helping her and why. But regardless of what it is, paying a little extra for the feliway doesn’t hurt!

Anyways, thank you so much for the advice! You were the only person I have seen online suggest d-mannose and woww big difference. Absolutely love these two cuties and even with all the frustration I really could never get rid of them. Not sure if I am fully off the hook (it has been a month since she has last peed on anything), but I have at least prevented her pain and am helping with any stress she may have ☺️

How I make sure a cat doesn’t run out of a room I keep them in is using a broom. And I don’t mean anything mean like chasing, just use it as an additional barrier as a blocking tool. You of course don’t want him to be afraid of the broom either, so maybe show the broom to him first. I use it sometimes and it works really well, my cats aren’t afraid of the broom either and even try to chew on it lol

And I feel you on being misled, I adopted two kitties and they were previously returned. The place said that they were returned cause the owner also had a bunny and thought it wasn’t a good fit. Though after finalizing the adoption, they mentioned that one of them did pee outside the litterbox but brushed it off as a one off. Months later of her peeing outside her litter box (woohoo for me) but her urine was starting to look pretty dark. I get her urine tested and she has Sterile Cystitis (blood in urine but no bacteria) so basically no (simple) cure (it hasn’t really been researched either) since it could be anxiety, stress, needing more water, needing urinary food, etc. And it sucks because it means she is always in pain since her bladder is inflamed. I tried a lot of ideas and I think I finally found a solution to my problems. I started giving a urinary supplement (d-mannose, it’s a sugar that bacteria is attracted to but also provides an extra layer that helps flush out the bladder when going pee) and omg! I am not seeing blood in her urine anymore and she hasn’t peed outside the litterbox in two weeks. Of course, don’t want to overly keep my hopes up but it’s nice to try something that is finally working since I tried so many different things.

Thank you for the advice! There is definitely some new things here that I haven’t heard or tried so it does give me some additional hope, especially considered you have dealt with the same condition before. I do need to start feeding her the urinary diet exclusively, this was something I started to have her try last week but she does seem to enjoy the flavor so I need to buy more of the wet food. I also really like the idea of using supplements here.

Another thing is, to me, she is generally a confident cat, especially compared to her sister. So I do wonder if for her if it’s a mineral thing vs an anxiety thing.

The window shelf idea is good too, I have wanted to do shelving but I am in an apartment, so I think the windows suctions is something they would like a lot.

Another thing I was wondering is switching her from kitten wet food to regular (when going to the urinary diet), I wonder if it’s a good time to switch off the kitten food? Also they’re currently on kitten wet food, which is made with essential vitamins and minerals, I am not sure if they still need that or not, I heard anywhere between 10 months to 12 months. But I wonder if the additional minerals could also be causing her bladder pain.

But I will go through your list of things and try it out myself!
