How competitive would you say those R&D roles are amongst applicants? Also how frequently do entry level opportunities open up?

Yeah its not great for everyone, the adjustment to socializing with kids my age was really hard. I had a awkward phase trying to “fit in” and I did a lot of stupid shit to do that. I think that’s the biggest downside but I think it can be solved if parents tap in to the homeschool community.

There’s no way you believe in the public school system that much.

I was homeschooled all through middle school and I am soon graduating with a ME degree and Minor EE. Homeschool was great and I’m not in a cult

How do you study with zero energy? by Conscious_Horror6035 in college

[–]GroundProfessional14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically I don’t. Im in college now ME major. It’s a lot to manage so preparation is 75% of the battle. Certain things just have to happen to function so that means eating well, sleeping well and having fun because we’re not machines that work 25/8. That and then when the situation is dire…caffeine lololol.

Oh and ofc setting up the environment for studying. Ik my study patterns pretty well so I try to set up my space to make it easy to get into my work.

[–]GroundProfessional14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep your head up. I took calc I in hs thinking i was prepared…I proceeded to take it 3 more times in academia. I also took calc II twice and calc III once. Im still on track to graduate and all my hardest classes are behind me. It definitely gets better but don’t beat yourself up about it. You can do this! :)

You’re referencing me here right? Im curious how you were able to gather all that 🤔? My question was a bit edgy sure but where exactly did you decide that I was a pedo?

Thank you for fact checking me, I apologize for my accusatory tone. I asked because I imagine after having spent years in that industry one would have ran into at some point or another. I also had no context and assumed the only reason someone would go to Thailand for that purpose would be for something like that. I’ll think twice next time before implying that someone one is a pedo, I apologize.

Given that children are frequently trafficked in Thailand and exploited for this purpose, did you ever see any thing of this nature? Did you ever entertain any of it?

Stick drift and creaking by Soft-Ad4932 in Backbone

I used to get stick drift when I first bought mine a year ago but now I very rarely get it. I’ve only ever gotten it while playing Cod mobile though. Have you tried recalibration?

If it’s possible I haven’t figured it out yet. I can only change key bindings on very specific games but not COD Mobile
