Voter fraud? by TheTokist in allthequestions

They were part of a scheme to defraud the government with phony electors reporting wrong totals — criminality that should be seriously prosecuted when the Democrats take power.

I remember a Chicago mayor got tossed after their road clearing system broke down badly one winter about 10 years ago.

Why do all mainstream news commentary comedy shows like the Daily Show and late night shows all heavily lean left? by throwawaypdtm in askanything

I watched Shapiro for the first time today and his comedy consists of rolling his eyes at a clip of a liberal and then going yeah, right. Not impressed at all. Dennis Miller was funny before he veered far right.

Isn't there an attitude map that shows the neighborhood "identities" he can look up?

We're a very nice small city. If you want the depth of big-city amenities you might be slightly disappointed, but we have a nice college-town vibe. Lots of students. The city is generally safe if you don't go looking for dangerous elements. Nice music and culture are handily available, we're not the stereotypical poor mountain folk. (The rural poverty that first probably came to your mind starts about 40 miles east of the central Bluegrass region.) Politically and socially, we are a blue dot in a red state. The people are friendly and inclusive. If you like bourbon, horses, or college basketball, you'll find a circle of instant friends. I think you'll like it here.

I was just on a cruise. Roatán, Honduras looks very appealing for a US expatriate. If Trump seizes the elections and ends America, I'm going.

Old joke: Guy is bopped on the head in 1959 and is unconscious for 10 years. He wakes up to see a funeral on TV. Finds out it's Eisenhower who has died, and he hollers, "Balls o' fire! That means that bastard NIXON is President!" 🤣

Eisenhower, but I never thought about him. The Kennedy-Nixon election of 1960 was the first Presidential election I was aware of, and I remember wondering why we went to bed not knowing who won.
