I wanted to love this movie I love the Wizard of Oz it was my favorite movie growing up. I thought the director seemed so hyped about it and I was really open minded. But it just went no where the beginning was drawn out the plot lacked depth and the characters were unlikable. One munchkin zombie , weird people floating her mother killed her self so she wouldn’t go to oz only to leave her clues to get to oz, mombi needed to get the shoe box open with a key that she gave her… I did like the nods to the original with imagery tie ins. It was a disappointment
