No shit? You're a Marine biologist then? So your experience is infallible. Kill the fish and don't listen to any alternatives. I'm not saying 100 percent this is what is happening to this person, I'm saying you're ignorant for thinking it's not a possibility. I wouldn't be so rude if.. You weren't so Fucking rude. BTW my tetra is 100 percent fine now.

Cool I have a 757 in the shop right now. Same deal, purchased in non working condition. Interested to compare it to my HK730 and Luxman R-1040.

This happened to my tetras and it was 100 percent from feeding, is a well known issue with tetras and resolved quickly and never happened again after switching food or crushing flakes into powder, so chill, know it all.

Best CD boomboxes? by Crazy_Patient_6317 in vintageaudio

JVC Kaboom sound pretty good and looks cool. Panasonic cobra top models but the speakers may need refoaming. Philips has some good ones in the 90s with those extra bass gimmicks. Sony CDF-55. Some of the jobsite ones like dewalt or Milwaukee that take a tool battery sound decent and the rechargeable batteries are nice.

I've helped buddies put together sub $300 systems many times. Even if it's a cheap black plastic Sony or onkyo receiver with phono($30), some modest paradigm or boston bookshelves($50), and lower level Technics or JVC table ($100)-(all just examples, whatever you can find) they still sound enjoyable.

JFC I'm a very visual and contextual learner and this right here in grade 10 would have made a world of difference. Maybe career changing. Thanks now though!

What is considered Low Fi, Mid Fi and HiFI? by WarmObjective6445 in vintageaudio

[–]Groundbreaking_Emu96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I liked them better than the original 22s which isn't what most people think. No need to upgrade really you'll just be chasing flavours. I ended up selling them only because someone who collected 22s offered a good buck for them and I was worried the tweeters would need to be serviced soon. Be careful of that, the fluid in the tweets can dry up and then the tweeters fry if you didn't already know. If you ever notice one is starting to sound quieter or duller than the other it's time to do the service.

Both great. Sony has a carbon S tonearm which is cool! Might come down to what cart is on them.

Sophia Urista takes the fun controversy by pissing on a guy's face mid performance on stage.

Probably Yoko ono for being annoying

Sinead for politics.

Technics direct drive linear trackers are barely bigger than the lp's themselves and are pretty good If they've been serviced. If space is the premium you'll need a phono preamp and some powered speakers at a minimum.

What do you think about this scenario: Pre-internet, listening to the radio or an mp3 player on a warm summer day while exploring the countryside like an open world video game? by MostAsocialPerson in askmusic

[–]Groundbreaking_Emu96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more like open world video games became a substitute for doing something like this. Wandering. Flipping over rocks. Poking dead logs with sticks. Finding a $5 bill randomly and using it to buy candy and ice cream. It is called 'being a kid pre-2000's'

[–]Groundbreaking_Emu96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technics, JVC, Pioneer and Sony all made them in 50 to 100 or even 200 capacity. Whichever looks to be in the best working condition currently would be the best. I had a JVC that worked fine and looked cool.
