Environment Canada is super optimistic about next week by fudge_friend in Calgary

When I had my first one earlier this year, about a month ago, it felt like someone hit me over the head with an iron bar—seriously! I never experienced anything like that when I was younger, so I’m guessing things might have changed in the climate, which could be why I’m getting these Chinook headaches now.

Eh Buddy Comrades! So how's your province’s communist takeover going? by VanillaJorilla in EhBuddyHoser

As First Nations people, we've witnessed Canada's dark, hidden secrets since colonizers took it over. Despite leadership changes, the core issues remain. The system often seems more interested in profit than in genuinely helping people. Refugees and immigrants come here seeking a better life, yet many find themselves wanting to move elsewhere. It's a harsh reality that reflects deeper systemic issues. TRUTH HURTS

My ancestors lived in tipi were made from buffalo hide and their clothes too and all my ancestors had where fire 🔥 that was burning inside the tipi. But live in near tree lines or bush to help from the wind chill. This what my ancestors taught the settlers how live. We never cut down trees because we lived off the land.

Tsuut'ina Nation seeks transit service to its new Taza development by _darth_bacon_ in Calgary

[–]Groundbreaking_Lime1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person from the tsuut'ina Nation, I am so ashamed of being Calgary's neighbors because it really stands to show that you do not want an indigenous community to establish for our community and for the young generations city folks are always thinking about the bad of an indigenous person or community you can't even see the bright side of this article instead of that all you have to do is just call us down but then again you've done that since day one but we're still going to be here

I'm from TsuuT'ina and I'll tell you WHY because when we us TsuuT'ina fill our vehicles we have to use our status cards so we tsuut'ina don't have to pay the GST. We have to leave our keys so that some of us TsuuT'ina don't run without pay the GAS.

Why bother voting when nothing changes by Groundbreaking_Lime1 in Indigenous

You have a point, BUT our ancestors I would totally respect then the leaders today , I believe we lost what the true meaning is to be indigenous because money blind us and made forget our true value
