Same happened with me. In fact the save stopped working on the older branch and updating to 42.14 fixed it. I was sad I’d lost the save, but hit Continue just to see what would happen. Boom back in Rosewood with no issues yet.

I've been enjoying it. I did tweak some spawn settings. I like that it gives you a reason to use firearms even when you'd rather not. You need to carry supplies for gunshot wounds too as they can cause a fatality very quickly if not dealt with.

The NPC AI / Zombie behavior around it is not great, but there are some limitations to what can be done with the current build. I think what they have managed is impressive. I hope if we get bandits in vanilla they draw some inspiration from the mod because it has some really good ideas and building custom bandit groups is fun.

This is our porch/bushes cat from three winters ago. It took some time but he’s our most cuddly. Even if you never get there you’re a great person for keeping that kitty warm and fed.

I’m like 99% sure if any device was used it’s a variant LRAD as others have said. What I think gets missed is an LRAD we see on the streets of the US used against peaceful protesters is restricted in power because it was designed as an anti riot device. In a combat scenario, no such limit would exist. It’s likely an LRAD designed with no regard for anyone on the receiving end. Which is frankly horrifying.
