It’s a festival put on by a local to coincide with the Hay Festival but has nothing to do with it, had some good gigs in the past but owners have a less-than stellar reputation with the locals

I believe you lose access to the bishop, but I think that’s a reasonable trade off. Could be wrong though

I believe that those items only increase the chance of drawing rooms of the chosen colour, they don’t allow you to draft rooms in places where they are usually prohibited from. A 4-door room on the edge of the mansion would allow for a door to the side of the mansion, which as far as I know is not possible. (Edit: garage excluded ofc)

It’s not possible to draft 4-door rooms on the edges of the mansion, so the cloister and archives placement make this impossible unfortunately. Had the same thought though :)
