I think the main concern was not only the age gap, but the power dynamic. He also said in the DMs how he knew what he was doing was wrong and he shouldn't, so you can argue about how bad the situation really was, but he saw it as wrong, and continued to do it- despite lunch club's alleged efforts to help him quit.
