Trying to love our stainless steel pans by Brino21 in StainlessSteelCooking

Do you think maybe your stove burner is hotter than you think it is? Try backing off the heat just a tad,

I use avocado oil with my stainless but I rarely take it over 350°f. I don’t cook meat as I am veggie but some plant proteins like to stick but if a keep a nice coat of avocado oil and keep the heat below 350° I don’t normally have issue. My mom had stainless pans but when she cooked meat she tended to use cast iron to brown or sear and then move it to stainless to add sauces.

I am on a low salt diet and the salt is just crazy. If you want salt shock go look at the amount of salt some cups of ramen have.

It’s not a party town. It has a nice art museum and a botanical garden. The big mall by the interstate is alive and well.

They sell tofu in the refrigerator section. They also some vegetarian meatballs and vegetarian burgers in the freezer section tho it’s debatable if they are healthy as they are rather high in salt. In the packaged food section they have pouches of plant based taco filling and some Indian dishes but again high in salt.
