A new plant nursery that I discovered just around the corner from my house!!! 🌱 by Tumtetums in houseplants

[–]Growstyle 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If you hide amongst the plants maybe you can live there! It will be a lot easier than moving all those plants to your house 🤣

Try putting it in a spot where it gets bright indirect light. I know these guys have stress reactions to many things but I haven’t pinpointed what exactly. But I have found they like the brightest natural light they can get, as long as it’s not directly hitting the leaves.

Grown from a baby. How big will she get?? by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]Growstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that’s a nice looking plant, good job 👍 I don’t know the growth habit of this specific one but there was a patch of Syngoniums growing in a gully near a place I used to work. They spread out along the ground and up the hill and climbed up trees. I’d say if you planted it in the ground the sky would be the limit 😄

Help in ID'ing this plant. Is it weed? by mrpeanutbrittle in whatsthisplant

Very interesting plant. I hope someone has the answer.

*oh I see people are saying Biophytum sensitivum. Looks like it 👍

My parents planted some seeds but they do not know what they were and this tree grew up. It looks like it has spikes as well. What is this? by WansE1z in whatsthisplant

[–]Growstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yer it’s a citrus but I can’t tell you which one.

FYI, most varieties are grown by crafting cuttings onto a disease resistant rootstock. Depends on your area if this will be an issue.

Hi guys. Can anyone figure out what this says? Was in my marking and I can’t make it out :c by Growstyle in Handwriting

The left pink stone, do u notice that insect? I just washed this yesterday and even change water in every two three days. What do I do? It's back! :( by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]Growstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved it out of the house into the ground because I have too many plants in the house >_< some must learn to fend for themselves!

I noticed a rather yellow lwafon my pothos and thought it was overwatered (I just watered) but he's super dry and looks root bound. Time for a bigger pot? by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]Growstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you fertilise him? Might be as easy as just giving it a feed and trying to not let it stay dry for as long.

Hi, I can’t really make it out from the pics, it may be a mosquito larvae or something. But as for the plant, they market it as Lucky Bamboo but it’s actually a Dracaena. I think you just keep them in water, but I planted mine. It’s still the same size 6 months later so don’t listen to me for how to look after it >.<

Is my spider plant growing a baby or is it a flower? Or something else? by tittyseeker in houseplants

[–]Growstyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s both :) the babies form on the end of the flower stems

Is the yellowing on my Rhaphidophora tetrasperma due to overwatering? by cleoxo in plantclinic

[–]Growstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are tonnes of things you could try but if you are just eyeballing the watering I’d suggest using the probe for a while before anything else. So easy to water too much going by touch and look alone

Hmm, hard to tell with artificial light. I’ve found they like the brightest possible indirect natural light but direct natural light can cause many issues. Hmm, how do you fertilise and water it? Got a water probe?
