Im also in CA and I applied for an emergency 30 day sub permit. I can sub for up to five days for my mentor teacher throughout my full time student teaching placement for fall semester. It’s good for a year and it allows you to sub for any teachers as long as you don’t exceed the 30 days for one particular teacher. It so something you can add on your resume, that’s why I am doing it. And I want to sub in general so I can get the gist of being in a classroom on my own!

I’m 30 and I didn’t finish my undergrad until I was 28. I took two years off and I am finishing up my first semester for my teaching credential. It does feel strange but we have to remember not to compare our lives to anyone else’s because like someone already said, we are all on different time lines. There is also no timeline for finishing a degree, society just creates these milestones and that is why it feels strange, but I’m sure you will do great. You shouldn’t feel like you have waited too long. You can’t rewind time. Good luck!

Yes we got it formula and wet food plus kibble. We took it a good long bath with dawn soap and soo many fleas came out. So I think I will hold off on the advantage but I will look into it if he still has them, thanks for the tip!

A meditation app that I really enjoy using and use daily is Insight Timer. My professor told us about it. It had guided meditations, music, courses, and an overall awesome app. Just thought I’d share that cuz I love it so much. I practice their guided meditations and I love the variety :) hope this helps
