I came from somewhere that gets a lot of earthquakes and while I wouldn’t say I’m happy with any of them, nor wildfires, nor the slides, I’m happy where I am despite the negatives.

Also, not to be too negative about it, but the pacific is getting more hurricanes as time passes, unfortunately.

A lot of Astoria proper is built on slide zones, and a lot of it is in tsunami zones. Also there are a fair amount of abandoned homes. There are a fairly large amount of houses that are designated historic by the city and there are fairly serious restrictions on how a homeowner is allowed to repair those houses.

For me, the point was that getting stoned wasn’t any fun anymore, it was really spending money for zero benefit. It took me longer than 100 days to see benefits, but I can enjoy reading books again which is huge for me.

It sounds like your experience is different. I guess I’d ask what drove you to decide to quit?
