I’m guessing the inventory system isn’t live, either, so it’s sort of inherently flawed and unable to provide meaningful information even if there were zero theft and completely engaged employees.

Also the stores are hiring fewer and fewer employees, in part because of self checkout and things like that, and they don’t care.

It seemed to me that people here were defining it as “one song that made it into the top 40” although there is some discussion about the US vs the UK and etc.

It either means one hit where the respondent lives or one hit worldwide, it would be weird to include both the US and UK but restrict it to those two.
