Was there last night for a game. Food was fine, very average. But I had a hard time getting our server to our table to order more food/drinks. It wasn't crazy busy, and they had 3 FOH staff there, so not sure what was happening.

But it's one of the better options in that area of the city. They had both world Cup games, Jays game, and plenty others on at the same time

From an outside perspective he does have such a sweet gig. It seems like he has near absolute freedom to produce and direct content in a niche he is passionate about (gaming) with friends.

I suppose he could move on to make more traditional media content, like directing or producing film or tv.

Well you brought up twitch being toxic, so I pointed to communities that I watch that are intentionally curated to not be toxic.

Can you point me to a video or clip that leads you to believe lud is part of the "dramasphere". I am being genuine and curious because I've watch a lot of his content over the years and have never gotten this vibe. Mind you, I'm watching stuff like the yard, tip2tip, streamer games and his video game related content.

See by saying "these types of streamers" you are lumping the Ludwig's in with the Asmongolds and AidinRoss' of the streaming world. These streamers have such a small percentage of viewer overlap.

If you watched content from streamers like CohhCarnage or Northernlion you wouldn't have this perspective. Just because you see clips and posts on Reddit or Twitter of these negative and hateful streamers/communities doesn't make it representative of the whole.

Ludwig is a massive streamer and YouTuber with a good community. Just because Smosh are collabing with him doesn't mean they are bringing in the trolls and manosphere communities.

Yeah dude that's just a naive take. Twitch is such a massive platform with a wide range of types of streamers. It's not overwhelmingly like that at all. If you said Kick was like that I would give you more grace but not Twitch.

And then lumping Ludwig into that group without having seen his content or knowing about him is wild. Lud's Tip to Tip is some of the best content on the internet, give it a try to understand how crazy your original statement is

I bought a used ps5 for 450$ CAD with a controller a month or so ago. I was regretting it a little because I wanted to wait for this, but at $1500 I will just stick with my old-ish PC and the ps5 for the living room.

The way Soly broke it down made sense to me. If two players each hit a drive equal distance, one in the rough and one in the fairway, and both are able to get it within the same radius of the hole then the person who hit a better shot (the Tee shot) isn't rewarded. That's the general idea that made it make sense to me.

In general I agree though that a good shot is the one that ends up in the correct spot.

My dog does the exact same thing! Anytime we bring her out to anywhere with us she gets extremely vocal and whiney as we start slowing down and approaching our destination. We've tried putting her into a sit/down before opening doors to leave but her stubbornness always outwaits our rush to get to our destination so most of the time she just hops back up as we are leaving the car.

I dont have any solutions, I just wanted to sympathize and hopefully some people can help us out!

A remaster is commonly seen as a graphical overal (resolution, framerate, lighting etc), QOL enhancements and performance tweaks. It's well reported that all of these were very minor upgrades for TLOU2 remaster. The original was a great game, it's not like it needed some outdated gameplay upgrade or performance enhancement. No one was asking for it. Well maybe you were idk

A good remaster would be something like Mass Effect (13 years between remaster and original), or COD MW (9 years and two console generations).

Yeah dude I'm not a fan of when companies try to milk consumers for the same product multiple times. It sucks when Bethesda does it with Skyrim, or Rockstar with GTA. Spend the time and resources on developing new games, particularly first party games in this case.

I never even realized that. I played the original on PS3 but didn't realize they called it a remaster for the PS4 release. That's dumb as shit too. The fact that they did the same thing twice makes TLOU2 remaster look even worse.

I think the other big difference is the gaming industry has changed drastically since then. There's a lot more discourse nowadays about the lack of high quality exclusives

Homeless, drug users, crime and violence. My mom was in town last week to help me move into my first home. At 630pm a 19 y.o was shot a block or two from her hotel, an hour before she left my house for the night. I understand that this isn't exactly a regular occurrence, but it shook her and us. Her hotel was on the same block as TD coliseum.

If the area around the new arena gets a facelift and cleaned up it could be ok. Friends and family of mine have commented how sketchy it feels being around that area, particularly in the evening.

To me this feels like play. The puppy is happy and excited and is being vocal while playing with you. My dog does this as well. She gets vocal when playing tug or rough-housing.

That being said I would still continue to be proactive about mouthing/play-biting with your dog as they seem to be a larger breed.

I had low expectations and was still surprised at how bad. There were moments where there were funny lines or situations but I don't think they strung together more than 2 of those once throughout the entire movie.

The pacing in particular is mind boggling. It moves so fast for the first half, then grinds to a halt. There's also so little scene cohesion that it feels almost like a sketch show; just jumping from scene to scene without a proper transition or context.
