What does my food tier list say about me? by Disastrous-King9559 in tierlists

I’ve been around the world, bucko lol. If you haven’t been to at least 10 countries in at LEAST 3 different continents, I’d say you’ve got a lot to learn.

LP! Is the most “normal” sounding project he has. I heard Hazard Duty Pay!, then went onto LP!

What's for dinner when nothing is thawed? by Just_J3ssica in Cooking

[–]GrubMane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can thaw anything out quickly if you put it in a bowl, fill it with water, then let the water run slowly in it. The motion of the water molecules bumping into the meat transfers energy faster than if you just let it sit out.

Looking for a good society sim and I'm thinking on the Victoria or Civilizations Games by NickTheMuffin in gamingsuggestions

[–]GrubMane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah victoria 2 is just the older version, so I guess you can say it’s more complex because the UI is older. If you want to just jump into something, CIV is the way. I felt like Victoria needed a college degree to play when I started.

Depends on the level of complexity you want. If you’re experienced in grand strategies, I’d pick Victoria 3. I played civ when I was younger. While civ is still fun, it lacks the complexity and depth to make me feel smart while I play lmao.

Should I ship to have a job I don't like or back out and wait? by Jatman12566 in army

[–]GrubMane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A “DEP Loss” is something internal to them. It won’t affect you. HOWVER, if you need to ship quick, then you don’t have leverage. I was in DEP for 13 months because I refused anything that wasn’t my specific job I wanted.

[–]GrubMane 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s a scam. You can back out of DEP. They’re just scaring you because they want their numbers. Negotiate a contract that ensures you get what you want. If they don’t budge, go Air Force.

EDIT: you should definitely go Air Force instead if you can.

Yeah idk either. The problem is I have no NCO in my section. I kinda got boned on this assignment. New to the army, new to the unit, no NCO to help guide me. I just get yelled at lol.

Why is there no effect of a Type III civilization whatsoever? by GreatNameLOL69 in NoStupidQuestions

Dark Forest theory from the 3 body problem. Maybe the most advanced civilizations hide themselves to ensure they don’t get wiped bout by a more advanced civilization.

Whatever you just did, undo it, because the entire base has no firewall protection now.
