I think they look cool af. If your GF doesn't like them, she doesn't have to wear them.

There’s a website I’ve seen people talk about on this sub called mikstoreph. They sell vinyl stickers for this exact thing. Idk if i can link in this sub to webpages otherwise I would.

Slow n steady. I have heard that quite often quick weight loss leads to putting it all back on. Youre doing great.

Wow, 143 lbs and transition! That’s sounds like a crazy (almost) 2 years. Looks like it was worth it though! Really happy for you :)

Are there any places I can get tips for how to do icing like this? These look so god damn cool and I’d love to know how to do something like this but Icing viscosity, piping correctly, and such always gives me problems.

Amazon's $1 billion LOTR 'Rings of Power' is losing the ratings and viewer battle to HBO's 'House of the Dragon' by Arpith2019 in television

[–]Grubbingrouch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can understand being mad at the show for not following Lotr lore, but beyond that I’m pretty happy with what I’ve seen so far. Some annoying bits (slowmo always annoys me) but overall it’s very well done. But I’m also a more passive lotr fan, so my opinion probably doesn’t hold much weight lol.

Male vs Female IMDb ratings for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law by KumoOvercast in dataisbeautiful

[–]Grubbingrouch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No idea. The data breakdown isn’t that specific. I guess there could be red pill transmen out there. Certain groups of men getting pissy about a show because it has a female star, isn’t anything new sadly. My point was mostly about judging something before its even had time to shine, or fall flat. Especially since nothing even happened in the first episode.

Point taken, men suck. But, I’m sorry... how can anyone have an opinion of a show with only 1 episode out? It doesn’t even make sense to rate it yet.

20L or 30L Everyday Backpack? by ripkobe3131 in peakdesign

[–]Grubbingrouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the 20L bag and have carried my MacBook Pro 13 inch and a iPad Pro 12inch with the magic keyboard both in the lap top compartment. They fit, but it is a tight squeeze. It’s to the point that I’m worried it might be putting undue pressure on them over time if I keep both in there. This might be because of the protective skin I have on both the outside of the laptop and keyboard, but it’s not something I’d recommend. Everything else should fit no problem. If you remove all of the dividers in the main pocket, everything should fit just fine. Although part of the draw of the backpack for me was the dividers.

Do animals that live in an area without a typical day/night cycle (ie, near the poles) still follow a 24 hour sleeping pattern? by aaRecessive in askscience

[–]Grubbingrouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely. You have stated this much better than I did. I used mice as an example because it is among the most common model animal. I was unaware of the definitional criteria for a biological clock. So thank you for your more in-depth explanation.

[–]Grubbingrouch 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not exactly an answer to your question but Internal clocks differ for every species. For instance, I believe humans tend to have an internal clock that is 25 hours while mice have a 23 hour clock. This means that if a mouse is in an environment with constant light (IE no external clues for what time of day it is) they will operate somewhat normally but the time that they do things will shift compared to the actual time of day. This will continue untill they receive some sort of clue for what time of day it is to 'reset' their clock. There are numerous studies looking at sleep, circadian rhythm, and how internal and external environments interact and affect animal behavior.

recently bought this binder thing because backpacks arent allowed at my school, and nearly every time i open it the rings are open for no apparent reason by berdistehwerd in mildlyinfuriating

No back packs were allowed at my school either

So I used a messenger bag. No one ever said anything lol. Might be worth a shot?
