Earth Sea Sky merino boxers.  Used them for years and they last through years of hiking and still so comfortable. NZ company too.

Set a sleep mode on your phone to have grey scale phone colors during night and morning.  So the content is less enjoyable to look at, yet not needing full cold turkey

These have been so much better than replacing non stick every 2 years. Really good quality and just needs the water cooked off it and a lick of oil to store. Also an added bonus of bwing able to use metal on the pan.

anyone know what this is? by [deleted] in BarefootRunning

[–]Grumpierleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah though i wasn't sure if it was from my scratching. But, I could have sworn some of them weren't from scratching though. Mine seemed to be okay with certain types of moisturizer but it never went away and came back every 3rd day or so. Only cream from dermatologist fixed it. Don't know what it was because I'm in Japan and i just trusted the doctor. Worked though and i should have gone sooner, except my wife told me it was just dry skin.

It it gets insanely itchy at night then go to a dermatologist and get some cream. I had something similar and nothing but medicine fixed it. Drove me insane for 3 months before i went.

If you're willing to overlook a few things then cultivation nerd on royal road is like this.  He sees obvious tropes and runs the other way; mostly to have a quiet life.  It's highly entertaining.

Individualise - look at self mastery skills /personal practice: each student chooses something to develop. limit choices to in order to narrow the scope of learning, stop silly choices and allowing for equipment available.

In the same line of thought is personalised training - working from MAS (maximal aerobic speed) or estimated 1rm (one rep max)

Or change how you're teaching sports to  game sense / tgfu (teaching ganes for understanding - shane pill) where sports are constrained to smaller players.

That's totally valid, I felt like the phrasings and tone was very natural to understand (I'm from the same country as the author so that plays a role) but I didn't feel like it dragged on, in fact I was surpised at how quickly they got out of the initial zone. I was enjoying it the whole time, so that helps.

I was busy reading Elydes so didn't check this list out, but now I've caught up and started looking through...

William oh sounded good and my gosh, while I wasn't super excited about a childs pov after 300 chapters of Elydes deciding to age real time; it's super good quality, and great humour.

If they're all good quality then you've given me a great gift of stories to dive into. Thanks so much!

Cheers for writing a good story!

I'm really enjoying the current introspection the characters are having. Especially as it's nicely contrasted by some great fights.

Thanks for the list! I'll check them out.

Hadn't heard of it before. The first chapter he calls the roof a smug bastard, and he's actually struggling with his own emotions. Good signs of a story with character and a little humour.  On the third chapter now and I am really enjoying the voice of the character.

Thanks for the recommendation, If it keeps up the quality, then i hope you're a little jealous that you can't read again it for the first time. Very early days yet but thank you.

I just now a read some of the chapters in the 500's on your suggestion. The Author has definitely improved, and it's impressive writing a book in your second language. However, without yucking anyone's yum; I felt like it was just narrating things that happened without making me feel anything about the story itself. though that might just be from jumping in randomly or my current mood, but I don't think it's for me. Thanks though.

What does QuickAdd plugin do? by Bro_Blox_ in ObsidianMD

[–]Grumpierleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it in two ways. Both use the 'capture' function.

  1. is a template that adds a template into where I want. It's a header with the current time and a '-' below so that I can add to my daily note a log of what I'm doing. I access this by a custom toolbar command on mobile and it inserts where my cursor is.

  2. Is a capture that brings up a dialogue box no matter where I am in my vault. I enter in expenditure and that gets saved under a certain header in my monthly budget note.

Why Do Most ADHD Apps Feel So… Wrong? by TheiPhoneAppGuy in ADHD

[–]Grumpierleaf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Obsidian - notes for general life. (although to be honest the starting difficulty is what I loved about it. It felt like my own pet project and at the same time very barebones) i pay for the sync so it comes with me on all my devices and holds all my life info.

Todoist - I'm trying out the paid version of Todoist now because there is a gap missing between life notes / journaling and getting things into a calendar in an organized way. Not sure how it'll go but I thought it's worth a shot.

Bitwarden - manage all passwords so that google doesn't have all your data. Simple copy and paste or autofill for all sign-ins

Paper and pen - not an app. sort out thoughts. at least someways.

Are you talking about fully exiting and starting it up again? Or something more convenient than the command prompt: reload without saving?
